This Python Eating A Parrot Is Even More Reason To Never Go To Australia

    Nope nope nope.

    Ok Australia, that's enough.

These terrifying photos of a carpet python eating a king parrot in the Queensland town of Agnes Waters were sent to local snake catcher Stuart McKenzie late last week.

They show a carpet python, which Stuart says are "everywhere" in the area, devouring a poor parrot that was just trying to catch some sun.

The snake catcher reckons the snake was likely out trying to catch some rays when the bird landed a little too close for comfort and became lunch.

McKenzie estimates the snake is between six and nine feet, and possibly lives in the roof of the home.

But the good news is that the python is more likely to go after small birds or rodents than people.

    Australia: nope.
