Australia's foreign minister Julie Bishop has always been one of the more stylish members of the Coalition, and now she's added one more string to her fashionable bow: Putting the full weight of the Australian federal government behind the business short.
Bishop was in London along with defence minister Marise Payne for discussions with their British counterparts over the weekend.
Of course, Bishop and Payne's tour wasn't about fashion. They discussed Australia's trade relationship and defence alliance with Britain in the wake of the Brexit vote and reacted to a recent nuclear missile test by North Korea.
The temperature in London has reached upwards of 28 degrees in recent days, which apparently British people consider to be quite hot.
It's a crucial intervention from Bishop as Australia heads in to the warmer months and offices around the nation debate exactly when it is acceptable to wear shorts to work.
But in case you're wondering if it's ever ok to wear shorts to work, just remember, it's good enough for the foreign minister.
