42 Reasons Why Every Girl Wished Their Life Was A WB Show.

Ah, the lifestyles of WB families. You want absent parents, all night parties, sex, or maybe 1 really awesome parent that is also your best friend? WB (and later CW) had that business covered.

1. Felicity moves to New York, cuts off all her hair. -Felicity

Felicity asks longtime crush to sign her yearbook and follows him to school in New York. In the beginning of season 2 she chops all her glorious curls off. She can cut off her hair but she can't choose between Ben and Noel. What a beezy.

2. Pacey loves Joey- Dawson's Creek

Not only did Dawson's Creek throw out the starting ship but they made the best ship (mostly because he didn't obnoxiously cry like Dawson) one with the best friend. If anyone needs some burn cream, it's Dawson.

3. Dawson loves Joey- Dawson's Creek

Dawson might be the ultimate friendzone guy. Or maybe he just decided he couldn't stand Joey's silly pouty voice. The world will never know.

4. Buffy and Angel- Buffy the Vampire Slayer

Tale as old as time. Girl loves vampire. Vampire says they can't be together. Vampire changes his mind. They have crazy vampire/human sex. Vampire loses his soul. Best. Love. Story. Ever.

5. Sam and Dean Winchester- Supernatural

Om. Nom. Nom. Saving People. Hunting Things. Family Business. Sam and Dean Winchester are the best brothers television has ever seen. Eat your hearts out, Lucas and Nathan Scott.

I'm sorry. Did I mention Sam and Dean Winchester. No, those tattoos are not real and yes, they are both married.

7. Lucas Scott- One Tree Hill

Lucas Scott. He might think he is just a boy destined for writing about the good times on the river court. But with that floppy hair, that charming smile, and that sweet fade away he won his way into many hearts in Tree Hill.

8. Lorelai Gilmore- Gilmore Girls

Quite possibly televisions coolest mom and definitely the coolest mom on the WB. Not only was Lorelai Rory's best friend but she was willing to throw down her Mom terms when necessary and also offer life advice that you may or may not want to hear.

9. Jess and Dean fight over Rory- Gilmore Girls

Rory was dating sweet boy next door (and future sexy Winchester) Dean when Jess stormed into town. His love of books, music, and Rory drew her in. Dean and Jess had multiple fights over Rory spanning three seasons. When Jess came back in season 6, we secretly hoped that Dean would appear in the middle of the Jess-Logan-Rory argument for just one more fight.

10. Felicity loves Noel- Felicity

Resident advisor Noel, stole Felicity's heart. Initially in the friendzone where he was forced to hear all about Ben, Noel and Felicity were finally able to get together...

11. Felicity loves Ben- Felicity

In the season four finale, Felicity finally makes a decision. She chooses Ben. Four years of back and forth and she ends up with her high school crush.

12. Hannah and Bright- Everwood

Hannah and Bright might be one of the most adorable, short lived relationships on an extremely under appreciated show. Bright is Amy's brother who displayed some stereotypical shallow jock interests until best friend and Amy's on again/off again boyfriend Colin died and he meets Hannah.

13. Angelus- Buffy the Vampire Slayer

Buffy and Angel shared one moment of true happiness which led to Angel losing his soul and turning evil again. Still sexy. When he found out Jenny Calendar (a descendant of the gypsies that put the curse on him) was trying to curse him again he killed her. And then placed her in Giles' bed as a form of torture. It worked. I could go on. (Best episodes of that season? Beginning 1 and 2)

14. Karen and Keith- One Tree Hill

Karen, single mom to Lucas and Keith brother to Dan Scott, Lucas absent father finally, finally got together. With one kiss at the airport Keith's life took the turn he always wanted. On his way to pick her up at the airport he got into a car accident that left Lucas in a coma resetting their relationship. Luckily, that didn't last forever. Even though Dan took Keith's life we were still able to see him and Karen be happy for a little while and make an adorable baby, Lily.

15. Ephram and Madison- Everwood

Wasn't it every boy's dream to hook up with the hot babysitter? Ephram heartbroken yet again over Amy he started dating Delia's sitter, Madison. Much to Dr. Brown's disapproval they continued their relationship. They break up and Ephram heads to his audition at Juliard and Dr. Brown finds out Madison is pregnant and begs her to stay away.

16. Dean and Ben- Supernatural

Dean and Sam pick up a case in a town Dean has been before. Lisa opens the door and "best night of her life" Dean is standing there. Turns out Lisa has a son, Ben who is remarkably like Dean. "It's like hot chick city out there." Moon bounces are epic.

17. Logan gives Rory a rocket- Gilmore Girls

In the seventh and final season opener Logan leaves for London. Unsure about the future of their relationship Rory wakes up to a mysterious box containing a rocket. She spends the majority of the first episode trying to figure out what the rocket means. Is it a breakup rocket? Is it a love rocket? Turns out the rocket symbolizes waiting for someone as it references a Twilight Zone episode that shares the same name as this episode, The Long Morrow. This settles Rory's unsure feelings.

18. Oz gives Willow a pez witch- Buffy the Vampire Slayer

What might be one of the cutest moments in Willow and Oz's relationship leads up to Oz 'panicking' on the eve of their high school graduation and fight with the mayor. Oz and Willow had several cute moments throughout their relationship until Oz came back from travelling the world, learning to control how he changes into a werewolf only to find out that Willow had moved on. 19. Nathan and Haley get married- One Tree Hill

After a private beachfront ceremony, a cross country tour, and an almost divorce. Haley and Nathan got the wedding they always wanted. Complete with a classic Brooke/Peyton fight.

20. Nathan Scott- One Tree Hill

Nathan Scott goes from bad boy to amazing husband and father over the course of the shows nine seasons. With Haley by his side for almost the entire series save for a couple rough spots, this couple became the forefront of the show with a completely adorable son.

21. Xander in a tux- Buffy the Vampire Slayer

Willow had a longtime crush on Xander and it wasn't until Xander was with Cordelia and Willow with Oz that Xander realized what a catch Willow was. They had a few stolen moments like dancing in formal wear. As one can imagine, this did not end the way they planned. Relationships were broken, Cordelia was impaled by a giant metal spike in the ground. Just a regular Tuesday.

22. Amy and Ephram- Everwood

Ephram moves to Everwood and meets Amy. The quiet girl with the popular friends and the secret. Her secret is that her boyfriend is in a coma in the hospital. Despite Ephram's advances, Amy resists him the best she can. Turns out they were meant to be together and Amy finally confesses her feelings for him more than once.

23. Haley James Scott- One Tree Hill

Haley is Lucas' best friend who falls for his half brother and initial rival Nathan Scott. Haley has an undiscovered musical talent that takes her on a national tour nearly ending her marriage to Nathan. She later is Brooke's best friend after Peyton moves cross country with Lucas (and leaves the show for good).

Castiel begins to experience human emotions and feelings after spending so much time with Sam and Dean. The video sums up some of Cass perfectly.

25. Jess and Rory- Gilmore Girls

Jess and Rory. This is the best relationship in this series. Yes, better than Lorelai and Luke (I still think Lorelai belonged with Chris) and better than Rory and Logan or Rory and Dean. He truly, truly loved her and still after a couple years apart when he reappeared in season six, he still loved her. She never smiled as much as she did when she was with him.

26. You jump, I jump, Jack. - Gilmore Girls

Rory firsts meets Logan through Marty at a coffee cart and then later starts writing a story for the Yale Daily News on the Life and Death brigade. There were a few rules she had to follow during her reporting which was not to interfere with the integrity of the event. Not using words with the letter E, wearing 20's clothes and the following day wearing formal wear and partaking in a day of bizarre activities all culminating in a stunt. "What do you say, Ace?"

27. Marvin McFadden- One Tree Hill

Marvin 'Mouth' McFadden might be one of the best supporting characters in One Tree Hill. Beginning as the announcer for games at the river court, and running ravenshoops.com with Jimmy Edwards. Mouth became one of the core group and also one of the main characters as the show continued on. Mouth was no stranger to the girl drama either becoming entangled with Rachel, GiGi, Shelly the Clean Teen, and Millie. He even had a crush on Brooke for awhile as well. "Sometimes you have to step outside the person you've been and remember the person you were meant to be. The person you wanted to be. The person you are."

28. Peyton and Lucas- One Tree Hill

From the very first episode Lucas was truly in love with Peyton. Peyton's art matters, especially to Lucas. Lucas' first book was pretty much One Tree Hill in written form. His second book, a science fiction novel called The Comet was about how an astronomer waits his whole life for his comet to return to him. The comet of course was an allegory for Peyton.

29. The Rain- One Tree Hill

They kiss in the rain so many times in the show and this is the best one.

30. Lorelai and Christopher- Gilmore Girls

Lorelai and Christopher. He was always there, in the background of her mind anytime she got into another relationship. She called him from her bachlorette party when she was engaged to Max. They had an on again/off again romance and even got married in the seventh season. Many of the most heartbreaking moments in the show were around their relationship.

31. Ellen and Jo Harvelle

Ellen and Jo came into Sam and Dean's life and impacted it greatly. While Sam and Dean lacked a mother for most of their lives Ellen took that place. Giving them mom voice and demanding they keep her daughter, Jo safe. Ellen and Jo die in the same episode while looking for the Four Horsemen. And the boys miss them for the remainder of the show.

32. Spike- Buffy the Vampire Slayer

We loved Spike from the very beginning even when he was trying to kill Buffy. However, the moment the collective viewers panties end up on the floor is in season 6. That's right Once More, With Feeling. Sploosh.

33. Riley and Buffy- Buffy the Vampire Slayer

When we first meet Riley we assume he is a 'Good ol Iowa boy' but turns out he works for a military group that specializes in monsters (HSTs- hostile sub-terrestrials to be exact). However, they both continue to make it seem like they lead normal lives until they meet face to face in an Emmy nominated episode, Hush. They continue their relationship until Riley leaves town partway through season five.

34. Don't say I never gave you anything- One Tree Hill

One of the most referred back to moments in Nathan and Haley's relationship is the time they met for tutoring on the bank of the river. Nathan pops open a package of CrackerJack and takes out a beaded bracelet. The bracelet is show in significant moments throughout the remainder of the series.

35. Bobby's family- Supernatural

Bobby Singer. The surrogate father to Sam and Dean Winchester. Bobby helps out the boys (and several other hunters) through various situations they get stuck in. Idjits and balls are two of his favorite words to say when things aren't going his way. Even though he was shot in the head by Richard (Dick, please) Roman he still found a way to communicate with Sam and Dean. And now twitter says he will be back somehow this upcoming season. Squee.

36. B. Davis

Brooke Davis, next to Haley, might be the strongest character in One Tree Hill. She is raised on her own with no parents around. She leaves the partying behind and creates a clothing line called Clothes Over Bros, is godmother to James Lucas Scott, fosters a baby and a teenager, marries Julian Baker and has twin boys. Plus, she is just beautiful.

37. Spike and Buffy- Buffy the Vampire Slayer

Spike and Buffy's relationship may have been short, violent, and mostly fueled by sex and weird moments. But he's been there for her even when he was trying to kill her. He wanted to stop Angelus from ending the world and in the end he was the one to save them. He was the hero save them from the Uber Vamps. Plus, Billy Idol stole his look from Spike.

38. Dawson's Creek

Who wouldn't want to live in a town where you can just take a small boat to your best friends house, throw an anti-prom when they won't let a gay couple in, follow all your dreams with those friends beside you?

39. Buffy the Vampire Slayer

Everything in this photo is so amazingly 90's that you can't look away. Thank the 90's tv gods that both this and Dawson's Creek are on Netflix.

40. Gilmore Girls

Of the more wholesome shows on the WB/CW, this one is my personal favorite as it was one I could share with my sister. The supporting cast was excellently put together and it helped the show become the seven season success that it was.
