And even an unexpected appearance from Kylo Ren's Sith-bod.

spoiler alert bitches: Kylo Ren showed his titties.

But it also includes something we've never seen before: the First Order seems to have the ability to track ships through hyperspace.

After the rebels beat the odds and manage to destroy the dreadnought, they do what good guys in Star Wars have been doing since Luke was a moany teen – escape into hyperspace just in the nick of time.

But moments after they drop out of hyperspace, who should turn up but that dickbag Hux and the pesky First Order. Our heroes eventually devise that the First Order has developed technology that – for the first time – allows it to track ships through hyperspace. UH OH.

Incredibly, it turns out Rogue One has the answer. Reddit user /u/rhodetolove made this incredible find:

Towards the end of 2016's Star Wars spinoff, we saw Jyn Erso looking for the plans to the Death Star that would eventually end up in the robo-hands of R2-D2 at the beginning of Episode IV.

Before finding what she's looking for, however, she mentions the names of other files on the Empire's database, including one called..."Hyperspace tracking" – suggesting this is something that has been in the works for quite some time.
