      The job loss projections seem terribly skewed and poorly calculated. For example, from what I can tell, the study’s author is pulling the total employees for the ENTIRE Walt Disney Company (from the company’s 2011 Form 10-K). I can’t imagine that unbundling cable channels would have too dramatic an effect on Disney’s theme park business, which made up about 21% of the company’s total operating income (in 2013). The same can be said for Time Warner (TWX) and Fox, and probably a number of other companies listed which have more than one operating segment. Also, I would be interested to know more about the multiplier that was applied. It seems entirely too random and only further skews the already misleading numbers. D-
