Halloween + a light show + Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody" = potentially the greatest thing you'll see on the internet for a while.

The light show, uploaded to YouTube on 30 September, was created by Nick Thomas, 60, of Naperville, Illinois, and his neighbour's 25-year-old son Steve Jandick.

The pair have been creating displays like this for the last 15 years.

Jandick told Today that the show was a team effort, with Thomas taking care of the decorations while he sorted the light displays.

Jandick said the show takes 12 months to plan, and this year is running from dusk till 9:30pm during the week and until 10:30pm at the weekends.

The current show plays 30 songs in total, including Lady Gaga's "Poker Face" and Michael Jackson's "Thriller".

Jandick said the show was attracting large crowds and only "one or two complainers".

The 25-year-old has been helping Thomas with the decorations since 1999, and used to travel home from college to lend a hand.

Now he lives only 10 miles away, and the pair don't appear to have plans to stop any time soon.
