But Beverly Polcyn is not your average octogenarian.
Oh hell no.
Polcyn is an American actress, and her dive into a filthy dumpster is part an advert for Nexcare Waterproof Bandages.
The new campaign see her character "Nan" take part in a series of extreme challenges to show the plasters' strength.

The adverts have been created with Grey Advertising and Mashable quotes creative director Paul Safsel as saying: “It was time [to] push out of the comfort zone a little.”
He said Polcyn was absolutely fine following the stunts, but staff have admitted to using “a little Hollywood magic”.
"No grandmas were hurt in the making of this video".
