This is the moment we've all been waiting for.

On Monday, Danny Davies, an asset manger from Atherton in Manchester, appeared on Channel 4's Countdown wearing this T-shirt:

Here is the scene in all its glory:

Today, Countdown host Nick Hewer seemed a little confused and asked Davies what he had written on his chest.

To which Davies replied: "It’s Tnetennba."

Anyway, those watching at home in on the joke thought it was rather wonderful:

A guy on Countdown today wore a T-shirt saying "Good morning, that's a nice TNETTENBA", top marks dude!

Lad on countdown with a 'Tnetennba' t-shirt on, Nick is clueless though.

Nice t-shirt, guy on Countdown 😂

I like to think he's bought this t-shirt a few year ago and has spent the time getting onto Countdown to display

IT Crowd's creator Graham Linehan even tweeted the wonderful news on Monday afternoon.

Hurrah! RT @EoghanSinnott11: it's finally happened.

BuzzFeed spoke to Davies the day after his appearance on Countdown aired.

He told us he had applied to be on the show 18 months ago as part of a list of things he set out to achieve before his 40th birthday.

Danny admitted he was a massive IT Crowd fan and when he was accepted to appear on Countdown, his brother bought him the "That's A Nice Tnetennba" t-shirt.

He said it was intended to be a bit of a fun in the green room before filming but the show's producers insisted he wore it on air.

Davies said the reaction to his appearance had been "a little crazy".

"[I] was not expecting to have so many tweets and people commenting - especially Graham Linehan," he said.

He blogged about his experience here.

He also provided this photo of himself with co-host Rachel Riley.
