Another 16-year-old boy was charged with violent disorder, possession of an offensive weapon, and common assault by beating on Monday.

He is due to appear at Bromley magistrates' court on Tuesday.

Metropolitan police officers were called to the Intu Bromley shopping centre at 3:45pm on Saturday following reports that a youth had been injured.

The Met said two knives were recovered from the scene.

Video taken by members of the public at the shopping centre shows shoppers fleeing in panic.

Eyewitness Alexander Adeosun told BuzzFeed News: "People had no idea what was going on to be honest, we only knew because a security guard next to us said there's a person with a knife in the area."

"There was panic and people were running and falling over," Adeosun told the BBC. "My brother had to jump over the escalator."

Police said at the weekend they were seeking to trace approximately six youths who ran off from the scene shortly after the incident.
