The 37-year-old actor's voice will be heard on the public address system by those traveling through the station today.

Bromley-by-Bow was chosen because the station is replaced by the fictional Walford East station on London Underground maps in the soap, the BBC reported.

The BBC has handily provided some Vines of Dyer making the announcements with in his unique style.

"There is a right pucker service running on all London Undergrounds."

"Stand back away from them closing doors."

"Make sure you've got a ticket aboutchya, don't try and jump the barriers because I swear, you'll get nicked."

Dyer told the BBC afterwards: "I can't tell you how much I loved sitting in the control room with them lovely ladies in their blue coats who work tirelessly."

"It brought back some happy memories. So remember everyone - mind that gap."

Sandra Anderson, the manager of Bromley-by-Bow station, also said: "Our station is at the heart of the East End and it is fantastic that as part of EastEnders' 30th anniversary, our customers will be able to hear one of the most recognisable voices from the show telling them that there is a 'right pukka' service on the District Line."
