Ed Sheeran Confirms His Status As World’s Nicest Guy With Adorable Surprise For Young Fan

1. In case you didn’t know already, Ed Sheeran is a nice guy. Here he is surprising a 11-year-old fan on TV last week:
2. The girl, Aimee Keogh, was appearing on RTE’s annual The Late Late Toy Show to help review a karaoke app.

Being a big Sheeran fan, she sang his 2011 single “Lego House”.
3. Which was handy, because the man himself decided to pop on to the set of the the Irish TV show.

4. The 23-year-old had performed a gig at Newcastle that evening, but flew over immediately afterwards to surprise Aimee.

She had tried to get tickets for Sheeran’s concerts in London next summer but was unsuccessful.
6. The pair then performed karaoke together before duetting on an acoustic version of “Thinking Out Loud”.
Speaking to the Ray D’Arcy radio show afterwards, Aimee said: “I’ve watched myself back on it many a time and no matter how many times I watched it, it hasn’t really sunk in.
“My knees were shaking and I thought I was going to collapse. It was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.”
