XO Stereo: The Scene's Best Kept Secret

The best band you've never heard of...yet

XO Stereo is that band that you probably haven't listened to...but you should be.

It features Jon Weisberg from a little band known as "From First To Last" (you know, that band Skrillex was in when people still knew him as Sonny Moore), Justin Whitesel from Ferret Music / Warner Bros breakthrough band "LoveHateHero" and he also did a brief stint in Century Media Record's "Eyes Set To Kill". Rounding out the official lineup is Cooper Campbell, who previously comes from a pop recording background and most recently the drummer of independent band "The Hollowed."

One thing we can't forget about is the live band. XO Stereo manages to stay a 3-piece in the studio, with all 3 members taking duties of Guitars, Bass, Drums, Programming, Piano, etc...but I supposed that means you need the best of the best when you play live.

XO Stereo features Ronnie Ficarro on bass (of Falling In Reverse fame) and Justin McCarthy on drums (of I Am Ghost fame).

With a live lineup this strong, it's no wonder this band is making waves.

Signing with Another Century Records

In 2015 XO Stereo announced they would be signing a record deal with Another Century Records (a division of Century Media under Sony Music) and that The Struggle would finally be getting a release.

They also went on to say that they're already hard at work on their debut full-length LP.

Another Century Records released The Struggle on October 2nd, 2015. It received a limited US release and was received with primarily positive reviews from major news outlets.

The future

What's the future of XO Stereo? Only time will tell. I'm eagerly awaiting their full length record and some touring so I can see them in my hometown soon.
