Lil Wayne's long anticipated 11th studio album, Tha Carter V, hasn't seen the light of day for two reasons, according to Lil Wayne: Baby and Cash Money.
On Twitter today, Weezy surprised fans by leveling harsh critiques at his mentor/father figure and record label, with whom he's been closely associated since he was just a kid.
He said he felt suppressed creatively and asked for patience.
Here's hoping father and son make amends soon.

Lil Wayne's manager Cortez Bryant downplayed suggestions of turmoil at Cash Money and said that Wayne wouldn't be leaving the label in a drive-by interview with TMZ yesterday. "We stayin' where we at," he said. Watch the interview here.
