1. A sink strainer with a fun little friend that'll keep you company while you cock-a-doodle-do the dishes.

amazon.com, amazon.com

Promising review: “This is a cute piece that works perfectly in my sink, and dare I say it adds a bit of 'happy' to the chore of washing dishes. I hand wash most of the time and this keeps small items like silverware from falling in the disposal while they wait for a rinse. It is mostly plastic, but a good quality and easy to clean.” —Kim Ballard

Get it from Amazon for $3.99+ (available in seven styles).

2. A pair of mop slippers that'll let you count walking from the couch to the fridge as "cleaning."

The bottom mop soles are detachable, so you can just throw them in with your laundry when they get dirty!Promising review: “I love these so much. They feel a lot like hotel slippers but less flimsy because of the mop part. You will not feel like you’re wearing a mop when wearing these. I have hardwood floors so I vacuum a lot and rarely mop. These work so well in getting the dirt off the floor just by walking around doing your daily thing.” —toothlesstimmyGet a pair from Amazon for $11.99 (available in four sizes and fifteen styles).

3. A desktop vacuum because you need something to re-moo-ve all those annoying crumbs from your workspace.

Promising review: “Wonderful! (And fun, he-he — never too old for that!) It works really, really well. It not only cleans crumbs from the table or kitchen counter, but is terrific for cleaning crumbs dropped on the sofa when snacking while watching TV. ;-) Has great pick-up vacuuming capability. It even lifts dog hair off the sofa and chairs. And a spill of crumbs on the rug? You don't have to get out the large vacuum — just grab this adorable mini, and vacuum it up. Never thought vacuuming would bring a smile to our faces!” —DCGet it from Amazon for $11.99+ (available in three styles).

4. A pair of puffer fish dryer balls that'll reduce static, soften clothes, and can even cut down on drying time, so you can be kind to the Earth and kind to your wallet.

Promising review: “I love these. I live in the desert and in the winter especially it gets super dry and static becomes insane here. I don't much care for dryer sheets because they stick to everything and my dog likes to destroy them, so these balls are amazing. They have completely cut down the static in my clothes and sheets. Even microfiber sheets come out with zero static. I'm impressed. They have also improved drying time by quite a bit as well. They make the dryer a bit noisy but I can live with that for all the benefits.” —SiobhanGet a pair from Amazon for $8.

5. A lil' brush cleaning egg to get all the gunk off of your makeup brushes in record time — no yolk.

amazon.com, amazon.com

Promising review: “Wow! Where have these been all of my life? I HATE washing my makeup brushes, which usually results in me waiting too long to do it and getting acne from the bacteria on them. I was looking for something to make the process easier. These little egg cleaners are amazing. They are so easy to use and they really get the yuck out of your brushes without a lot of scrubbing. They are much larger than I thought they would be and very well made. I definitely recommend them!” —Kelsey Atkins

6. A set of Swedish dishcloths that'll basically replace paper towels in your kitchen. They're durable, reusable, and totally compostable — just like the Swedish flag, that's a big plus.

amazon.com

Promising review: “My new favorite way to wash dishes and scrub countertops. They are pretty dang durable, I even scrubbed the glass on my gas cooktop (the kids had a hay day making Rice Krispie treats, burnt marshmallow all over it) with one and it didn’t crumble like other sponges. They are nice and thin, dry quickly and rehydrate quickly as well. I haven’t noticed any smell so far and I’ve had mine for a while. I am pretty good about wringing them out as best as I can before leaving them to dry. I love the cute design, it isn’t an eyesore if you leave it on the counter to dry. Very pleased with this purchase.” —fastymilesanhour

9. A set of bottle cleaning beans for getting those difficult to reach spots sparkling clean with just a shake or two.

amazon.com

Promising review: “I was a little skeptical, but these little beans are miracle workers. I've got shining metal travel mugs now instead of travel mugs with tea stains baked on the bottom. Just toss them in and give them a shake and you'll have clean mugs too!” —M. Bolte

10. A bottle drying rack because the grass is actually cleaner on the other side (of the sink).

Also, sure, this is made for babies, but there are definitely no rules against using it to dry your boring grown-up forks and cups — the blades of silicone grass are definitely sturdy enough to handle it.Promising review: “I love this! I was getting really sick of bottle parts drying on my counter on a paper towel or drying mat all the time. This has a small footprint, holds maybe four bottles and their assorted parts easily at once. The grass is pretty stiff, so you just tuck things into them. It's two sheets of the grass sitting in the white tray. Because the bottles are suspended, there is better air circulation and things dry faster and more thoroughly, which is more sanitary. Absolutely recommend.” —emrevGet it from Amazon for $12.99.

11. An Angry Mama microwave cleaner to harness the power of steam (and, like, light sexism) to loosen all the caked-on gunk in your microwave.

amazon.com

Just fill her with water and vinegar, and let the microwave run — afterwards, you can just wipe everything away with a cloth!

Promising review: “Seven minutes in the microwave. Seven minutes and the water and vinegar steamed out. I was apprehensive, waiting to see how little this worked, and dreading the smell of vinegar I was so sure would overpower me. The microwave beeped, letting me know it was done. I waited that one minute afterwards, opened the microwave door, and was surprised that the vinegar smell was NOT overpowering. Sure it lingered a little, but it was faint, and when I wiped the microwave down all the gunk in there wiped right off!” —Sallie Duncan

12. Or, a Chilly Mama fridge deodorizer that'll keep your icebox smellin' fresh while we wait for the release of a Chilly Papa.

13. A Scrub Daddy sponge to clean just about everything with ease. (And, hey! Some gender equality in the cute cleaning products game!)

amazon.com, amazon.com

Promising review: “I first found our about these sponges from TV and decided to give them a try. Everything that's advertised is true! The sponges stay firm in cold water and soften up in warm water. Most of the time I use the Scrub Daddy in warm water to hand wash my dishes. It's great at removing baked-on or melted food as well as getting everything really clean! It's also great at cleaning silverware and utensils using it's "mouth". You just stick a spoon in its mouth, and all the mess comes off!” —RobPlease

14. A ladybug brush and dustpan that'll eliminate all those tiny messes that have been bugging you.

Promising review: “This works well at sweeping up debris, even very small bits. That's the most important thing to me; I hate when the front lip of the dustpan makes it impossible to get things inside of it. The brush stays within the pan for vertical storage (many others don't). The graphics are clean and well done. Appears to be sturdy and quality seems to be great so far.” —FargoGet it from Amazon for $8.85+ (available in 10 styles).

15. A robot vacuum because it looks like Darth Vader and, yeah, okay, it's a splurge, but it looks like Darth Vader and plays the Imperial March while it cleans. Come on.

amazon.com

Promising review: “I wanted to wait after we used this for a week until I posted a review. I have to say, this little vacuum has both met and exceeded our expectations. We initially picked a more expensive and higher powered Powerbot but ended up choosing this Darth Vader model because... it was cool. We liked the idea of a little robot playing the Imperial March and cleaning at the same time. We found it very simple to install the app and program it to map our home. We decided to use it in the main areas of the house (approx 1300 square feet) which only has luxury vinyl plank and a large but very thin area rug. We made the decision to buy a robot vacuum after we had our flooring installed and could then see every bit of dog hair and dust on the floor, which was causing us to sweep multiple times a day. We have the vacuum programmed to run once a day at noon and we’ve been more than impressed with how well it’s keeping the floor clean. Sure, there are spots it can’t get to, but we anticipated that before we bought it. The expectation was for it to pick up the majority of the dog hair, which it is doing. I’ve read reviews where people were complaining about how loud it is. It’s not nearly as loud as a regular vacuum. All in all, we definitely plan on keeping it and continuing to use it everyday. We don’t regret the decision to purchase it and we’re so glad we purchased a model with mapping ability so the entire area we have programmed is cleaned every time.” —Jessica A.

16. A delicates bag that'll hold sizes up to a G cup, and totally save your underwire from deforming. It's un-bra-lievably useful!

Promising review: “I have been looking for something like this for a while now. I really like how big this is because I wear DD bras so they fit perfectly into the bags and I was able to wash them. This definitely helped with my wire bras because in the washer they always seem to get messed up and the wire would start popping out. I even use this to store underwear when I am traveling.” —AmerishaGet a set of two from Amazon for $12.99.

17. An elephant with a handy draining trunk so you can keep anything from toothbrushes to silverware or even plants inside.

Promising review: “We love this little drainer basket! It fits neatly on my counter by my dish drain. My 82-year-old mother hates using the dishwasher and insists on hand washing the dishes. We had been using a basket that kept falling over or off the dish drain and then I saw this little guy... ADORABLE and works great. It's weighted nicely so no more tipping over!” —sas212Get it from Amazon for $9.88 (available in five colors).

18. An octopus shower caddy because, let's be real, you're a complete sucker for anything that increases storage space and is cute at the same time.

Promising review: “I purchased this for my older kids' bathroom because their tub always seems littered by bottles (half of them empty) and the corner racks always get rusty and gross after some time. It works great and helps with clutter. The plastic seems indestructible. When you slip in the bottle, you need to pull the plastic loop down the feeder rope to tighten. It really is easy to do. The design is built to not slip (which is a good thing) so you just need to be firm with moving it and not afraid of breaking it. You can also place the bottle just over 50% through the loop to have it tip in the direction you want, making it easy to keep bottles pointed to their caps for when the contents are running low.” —H.
