1. When Do They Bloom?

March 14th-17th are the dates the blossoms will be in peak bloom.

Usually the bloom isn't until April 3rd, which makes this the earliest bloom since the 1990's

2. When Is The Festival?

The unofficial festival with live performances runs nightly from March 14th- April 2nd, however, you're probably wondering about the big events.

Opening Ceremony: March 25th, 5pm-6:30pm, Warner Theatre

Blossom Kite Festival: April 1st, 10am-4:30pm, National Mall

Official Festival Parade: April 8th, 10am-noon 7th-17th Street

Fireworks Festival: April 15th, 2pm -9:30 (fireworks @ 8:30), Wharf District

3. Is There A Race This Year?

Yes! The Cherry Blossom 10k will take place on April 2nd and starts at 7:30am on the National Mall near the Monument.

4. Is There Anything For The Adults?

For those, 21+, there is the Cherry Blossom Beer and Wine Festival

When: April 1st from 1pm-4pm and 6pm-9pm AND April 2nd from 1pm-4pm

Where: Yards Park, SE D.C.

How Much: Currently only $19 with the Early Bird Special, bumps up to $45 after
