Hi! Have you ever looked at other people's relationships and wondered how often they're actually having sex?
The truth is while a lot of people are ~doing it~, sex is often a subject that feels too "taboo" to discuss with others. But even though it's an intimate act, it's important to have an open dialogue to remove stigmas and stereotypes that are often latched onto the topic.
So to help break the stigma and to normalize the different frequencies of when people have sex, we want to know how often you have sex with your partner(s) and why that works for your relationship.
For instance, do you and your partner prefer to have sex once a month because it's about quality over quantity and it works best for both of your schedules?
Or are you in a relationship with multiple people and make communication a priority, because what works for one person in the relationship, might not work for the other.
Maybe you try to prioritize sex once or twice a week because it's an important way for you and your partner to connect with one another, especially now that you have kids.
Also, in addition to how often you have sex, we would love to know why this works for you and your relationship — and if this was always the case.
For example, did you have sex less or more often before children became a part of you and your partner(s)' life? Or did someone in the relationship cheat — and that sparked an honest conversation about sex and intimacy?
On the other side of the coin, while things might be good right now, do you actually want your sex life to change in some way? And if not, what about your sex life do you love the most and why?
In the comments below, tell us how often you have sex with your partner(s) and why that works (or doesn't work) for your relationship. If you prefer to remain anonymous, you can use this Google Form.
Some of the responses will be featured in a BuzzFeed Community post.
