    12th Doctor Costume Guide

    1. Costume 1: Deep Breath, Into The Dalek

    First of all is the doctors Navy coat. This is used in every season of the show. The best replica you can buy is from Cosdaddy and can be bought here: http://www.cosdaddy.com/who-is-doctor-twelfth-12th-coat-costume.html.

    As for the trousers a pair of navy trousers are acceptable. Preferably chinos. Also a black belt.

    Capaldi only wore 1 pair of shoes throughout his era of doctor who. they are Loake Brogues however they are very expensive so be prepared to spend a lot: https://www.britboot.co.uk/loake-black-smooth-leather-brogue-boot-860-c2x22669157

    Capaldi also wore a white shirt for alot of his episodes. This can be bought from Magnoli Clothiers:

    Basic rectangle cuff links are also needed to go with the shirt.

    2. Costume 2: Mummy On The Orient Express, Flatline, Dark Water, Death In Heaven

    All that changes from the previous costume is a change from the cardigan to a waistcoat.

    a standard black 5 buttoned waistcoat will be sufficient.

    3. Costume 3: Listen, In The Forest Of The Night, Death In Heaven

    This Costume Brings in the Paul Smith Holey Jumper. Owned by Capaldi prior to filming this jumper is seen numerous times throughout the series. A replica of this jumper can be bought from Magnoli:

    Also a plain white shirt is worn underneath the jumper to give the star effect.

    Unfortunately i cannot find the jumper so no link is provided.

    4. Costume 4: Robot Of Sherwood, The Caretaker (Flashback)

    The doctor also wears a black leather glove for a short scene and a spoon.

    5. Costume 5: Time Heist, The Caretaker

    8. Costume 8: Last Christmas, The Magicians Apprentice, The Zygon Invasion, The Zygon Inversion, Sleep No More, Oxegen

    The final costume of series 8 brings in an all saints Wilde hoody in Jet black.

    However these have since been sold out so a normal black hoody is fine.

    9. Costume 9: The Magicians Apprentice, The Witch's Familiar

    The first t-shirt look for the doctor was the Label Lab Misty Mountain shirt. However today they are a rare clothing item. But Redbubble have a good version:

    The Plaid trousers where custom made for the show and no versions have been made so if you want them it will have to be a custom job.

    Finally the sonic shades. They are just a basic pair of Wayfarer sunglasses that can be bought on Ebay:

    10. Costume 10: Under The Lake, Before The Flood

    A new Hoody is introduced in this episode. It is the John Smedley Dark Green Rickon Merino wool Hoody. But like so many of Capaldi's Costume items they are no longer available so a dark green Hoodie will do.

    11. Costume 11: The Girl Who Died

    The second t-shirt look for the doctor is another label lab t-shirt. This time it is the negative flower version which Redbubble has also made:

    As with the t-shirt the doctor also has a new pair of Tartan Trousers.

    These where originally sold on MenDoza however they have also since been sold out. look out for navy blue cream and peach tab pocket check trousers.

    This costume introduced another new hoodie. This time it was the all saints Mode Mernio hoody in dark marine. Also unavailable

    A new undershirt is worn under the Holey Jumper turning the white holes to burgundy.

    The final pair of Plaid trousers are Hugo Boss Caleb Plaid pants in red. However they are also out of date and unavailable.

    13. Costume 13: Face The Raven Pre-Titles.

    This Varient adds the Blue John Lewis cotton waistcoat, again it is unavailabe but a standard blue waistcoat will do.

    21. Costume 21: The Pilot, Smile

    This variant brings in another new Hoodie for the twelfth doctor. The All Saint Mode Merino Hoody in puce. Again it is extinct but a dark red hoody should work just as well.

    Also the Top Man Ladder Jumper is worn. Again another extinct item

    Finally a red longline t-shirt is not rare or extinct. You can buy one most online shops.

    22. Costume 22: Thin Ice
