This is the first time Yankovic, who has been making comedic tunes for 30 years, has reached the top of the charts, and it was clearly a surreal moment for the musician.

"Wow. Wow," he said, as he began to tear up. "Thank you. I'm having a moment... this is really amazing."

"How do you feel when you see that?" asked Green.

"It doesn't feel real," Al replied. "This is something that I never thought was possible."

So which chart-toppers did the wordsmith have to beat out to get to the first spot? Jason Mraz, Rise Against, Kidz Bop Kids, and the Frozen soundtrack.

You did it, Al!
