Five Ohio teens have been charged with disorderly conduct after a disturbing ice bucket challenge prank on a teenager with autism.

The Bay Village teens, who have not been named, were charged in juvenile court, and two also face charges of delinquency and assault, the Columbus Dispatch reported.

The group, who attend Bay High School with the 15-year-old boy, dumped a bucket of urine, feces, cigarette butts, and spit on the teen instead of ice on Aug. 18.

After the prank happened, the boy's mother, Diane, shared an Instagram video of the incident with news stations. The story went viral after actor Drew Carey offered a reward for finding the culprits.

"I want these kids held accountable for what they did to him," Diane said at the time. "They targeted somebody who just didn't really understand what was going on."

Bay Village Chief of Police Mark Spaetzel told BuzzFeed News the teens' punishment can range "from detention to diversion."

"We agree completely with the charges and feel they are appropriate for what we learned through our extensive investigation," he said.
