    1. A Burrito and Guac

    Lauren Zaser / BuzzFeed Life

(Yes, he knows he's extra.) Learn how to make the burrito here.

    2. A Nightmare Dressed as a Daydream and Starbucks Lovers

    Lauren Zaser / BuzzFeed Life

    ~Baby, I'll write your name.~

    Lauren Zaser / BuzzFeed Life

To make this costume, add ~scary~ ghosts to a black T-shirt, tuck the top into a tulle skirt, and wrap everything up in extra sparkly tulle.

    3. The Sexual Bases

Start with three baseball T-shirts. We bought the iron-on numbers for the front and back at Michaels and — after much debate about what acts go with each base — added the details with a Cricut and iron-on material. This is how we made all of our T-shirt-based costumes, but you could easily just use a stencil, iron-on letters, or — if you're feeling brave and crafty — freehand 'em.

    4. Serena Williams and a Wimbledon Trophy

    Lauren Zaser / BuzzFeed Life

(The trophy is made from an inexpensive toy shield!)

    5. Netflix and Chill

    Lauren Zaser / BuzzFeed Life

This costume, by contrast, has absolutely no chill whatsoever.

    6. TLC in the "Creep" Video

    Lauren Zaser / BuzzFeed Life

Get the oversized PJs on Amazon.

    7. Cookie and Lucious Lyon

    Lauren Zaser / BuzzFeed Life

Who knew a French twist and an eyeliner 'stache could turn a girl into such a pretty male mogul?! Get Cookie's dress here and the wig here. Both her coat and Lucious's suit are from Burlington Coat Factory.

    8. The Oregon Trail Wagon & an Ox

    Lauren Zaser / BuzzFeed Life

We made the covered wagon costume using a box and wood contact paper, pipe insulation from Home Depot (you could also use pool noodles), and muslin. The ox costume is basically just horns/ears.

    9. Gene and the Can of Vegetables from Wet Hot American Summer

    Lauren Zaser / BuzzFeed Life

The can costume is made from silver poster boards covered in felt. The Gene just takes a bandana, a cutoff T-shirt, and an apron.

    10. Ron Swanson and Breakfast

    Lauren Zaser / BuzzFeed Life

    Relationship goals.

    11. A Sick Cat and a Vet

    Sarah Kobos / BuzzFeed Life

Cat ears + a cone of shame for the win!

    12. Which Witch?

    Lauren Zaser / BuzzFeed Life

    For you grammar nerds.

    13. Aunt Viv #1 and Aunt Viv #2

    Lauren Zaser / BuzzFeed Life

Sry to whoever has to be Aunt Viv #2; everyone knows #1 was far superior.

    14. Miss Behavior and Miss Demeanor

    Lauren Zaser / BuzzFeed Life

Finally, a use for that bridesmaid dress you were told you'd ~totally~ wear again. Add tiaras, and use iron-on letters to create the sashes.

    15. The Whole Oregon Trail Crew

    Lauren Zaser / BuzzFeed Life

As mentioned above, we made the covered wagon costume using a box and wood contact paper, pipe insulation from Home Depot (you could also use pool noodles), and muslin. The ox costume just needs horns/ears. The dysentery, tombstone, river ("Ford me, baby!"), and trail are all simple T-shirt costumes.

    16. Hillary and Carlton Banks

    Lauren Zaser / BuzzFeed Life

    Perfect dog optional.

    17. Miss Frizzle and Pluto

    Sarah Kobos / BuzzFeed Life

    Poor, poor Pluto.

    Sarah Kobos / BuzzFeed Life

    18. A Beanie Baby Cat and the Jerry Garcia Beanie Bear

    Lauren Zaser / BuzzFeed Life

Unless you were one of those MONSTERS who took the tag off your BBs.

    19. A Bull and a China Shop

    Laure Zaser / BuzzFeed Life

~You break it, you buy it.~

    Lauren Zaser / BuzzFeed Life

To make the china shop costume, start with a store-bought Alice in Wonderland dress (or a French maid costume) and add pieces from a doll tea set to the dress and to a headband with E6000 glue. You can add the sign with iron-on material or print it out and attach it to the headband.

    20. A Game of Guess Who?

    Lauren Zaser / BuzzFeed Life

    ...with movable game pieces!

    Lauren Zaser / BuzzFeed Life

This is an ~advanced-level costume~. Learn how to make it here.

    21. The Founding Dads

    Lauren Zaser / BuzzFeed Life

Buy Founding Fathers wigs at Halloween store and accessorize them with things dads like: transition lenses, WD-40, Bud Light, socks with sandals, etc. Laugh wildly at your own jokes.
