Response to Disturbing Facts About Organic Food:
I don’t think they get the point for most people. For instance, I buy organic meat products because I’d rather not consume all of the antibiotics and growth hormones that the livestock eats before slaughter. The drug resistant viral and bacterial infections that are sprouting up every where? Yeah, not my thing.
As far as my produce is concerned, I am not as stringent about buying organic, because I know that any kind of produce comes with a certain degree of herbicides/pesticides/defoliates use. So then I just try to buy local, because hey, America right? C:
I loved Flower Boy Ramen Shop far too much.
Response to 19 Tortoises Explaining Monsanto’s Unpopularity:
While all stimulating and mostly true arguments, I’ve one word that churns my stomach and ought to yours as well. Being from the breadbasket of our country, good old Iowa, I’ve seen the ill effects and know of them all too well.
Just educate yourselves on the dangers of monocultures. Monsanto perpetuates monoculture farming which will lead to nothing but devastation.
