We hope you love the products we recommend! All of them were independently selected by our editors. Well, we do! It's called "Want This" and in my completely biased but nevertheless valid opinion, it's fantastic! You can sign up below:

But *gasp* if you haven't been subscribed, you may have missed some of our editors' fabulous product recommendations. Let's catch you up!

Our first recs are from Emma Lord, who I think would encourage me to tell you upfront she considers Baby Yoda to be her tiny, precious, too-pure-for-this-world son. When not snuggling a plush recreation of smol Yoda, she's busy being a published fiction writer with a second novel upcoming! We're so proud.

In her own words: "Despite having mostly frosting where my blood should be, I also love red wine and whiskey, and have a lot of opinions about how they pair with Taylor Swift songs and different flavors of cake. I love to shop for and write about food and kitchen gadgets, things that save you effort and time, cozy fashion, and trendy/helpful face masks. I have three siblings so do not leave free food out around me if you're intending to eat any of it yourself, I have been trained to grab it and run."

    1. A floral temporary tattoo from Tattoorary on Etsy so you can try on some sweet ink before committing to it forever and ever.

    Emma Lord / BuzzFeed

Emma says: "I could never get a tattoo because I have the attention span of a labradoodle and would immediately fall in love with a *different* tattoo before the ink on the first one dried, but I love love LOVE how realistic and fun the temporary tattoos from Tatoorary on Etsy are. I also got one with lil' birdies I'm going to put on my wrist at some point. This one is so colorful that it just makes my soul happy every time I look down at my arm and see it."

Get the floral tattoo above from Tattoorary on Etsy for $8 and shop all of their floral temporary tattoo options here.

    2. Japanese Chili and Lime Bitters from 18.21 Bitters to add a little pizazz to your home bar setup. A dash of these and suddenly you're your own favorite bartender.

    Emma Lord / BuzzFeed

FYI, 18.21 Bitters is woman-, Black- and LGBTQ+-owned!

Emma Says: "I love love looooove unique flavors in drinks, and recently got into spicier bitters and syrups after a friend made her own jalapeño tequila and shared it with me. These Japanese Chili and Lime Bitters are so unique in that they have a little bit of heat and a little bit of pucker to them, so your tastebuds are like, HELLO, WOW, WE ARE EXPERIENCING A TINY HAPPY ROLLERCOASTER every time you take a sip. I like to pair it with something sweet, like candied peanut avocado sushi or, of course, cake."

Get it from 18.21 Bitters for $18.99.

    3. Period Sleep Shorts from Ruby Love so you can get a good night's rest knowing full well you won't wake up to stained sheets yet again — a story many of us know all too well.

    red high-waisted stretchy shorts
    Emma Lord / BuzzFeed

Ruby Love is a Black woman–owned company. The shorts can be worn alone and will absorb your ~flow~ or can be paired with a pad tucked into the pad pocket.

Emma Says: "I am a person with an aggressive uterus and an even more aggressive dislike of tampons, so I love these period sleep shorts from Ruby Love — on lighter days you can wear them as is, and on heavier days you can pair them with a pad. It's just nice to have a lil' extra backup, plus if you 'leak' it comes right out of these shorts when you're washing and wringing them out before putting them in the washing machine anyway. TAKE THAT, UTERINE LINING!"

Get the shorts from Ruby Love for $39.99 (available in sizes Juniors–3X) and shop all of their period sleepwear here.

On Emma's wishlist right now? Any of Beecher's handmade cheeses, a high-performance Under Armour face mask, Hello Kitty wine (yup, it's real), and some shower icing — let me say that again — SHOWER ICING!

Next up are some picks from Genevieve Scarano, our resident fitness expert whose recommendations on activewear and workout gear I trust with my whole heart and biceps. I think we're also the only two BuzzFeed shopping team members who go outside, so hoping we can go on a hike together someday!

In her own words: "I'm an associate market editor at BuzzFeed and cover all things fitness, decor, and skincare. I currently live in New York City, but I love traveling outside the Big Apple too (The Catskills and Finger Lakes are some of my favorite weekend spots). When I'm not writing, you can find me hiking outdoors, sampling flights at breweries, and shopping for quirky jewelry. Even though I'm always on the go, self-care is really important to me and I love helping others in the wellness department. If you need recommendations for chic activewear, soothing eye masks, or fun workouts, I got you! You can also connect with me on Instagram @jesuisgenn."

    4. Art Prints from Nonily Studio on Etsy so you can continue your quest to personalize your apartment, one gorgeous pop of color at a time.

one framed print of a sunset and one of clothes hanging on a clothesline
    Genevieve Scarano / BuzzFeed

Nonily Studio is Black-owned. This artwork is available for purchase as a digital download, so heads up you'll need to print it yourself! Absolutely worth it, imo.

Genevieve Says: "Apartment living inspires you to get creative with home decor, and I've fallen seriously in love with wall art. Nonily Studio has gorgeous prints that'll turn your small living space into a chill oasis. I adore both prints I bought above (swimsuits on a clothesline and a sunny canyon) and they make me feel more relaxed while I WFH."

Get them from Nonily Studio on Etsy: the sunset print on the left for $4.99, the clothesline print on the right for $4.99, or shop all of their prints here.

    5. A gothic-style initial necklace from JWLGANG on Etsy, because a go-to piece of subtle yet statement-making jewelry is a necessity.

    Genevieve Scarano / BuzzFeed, JWLGANG

Genevieve says: "If there's one thing I'll treat myself to, it's cool jewelry. I've bought rainbow clay earrings, a nose-shaped ring, and other baubles I wear on the reg. The latest addition to my collection is an initial 'G' necklace. I have a long French name, and squeezing nine letters on a chain is kinda difficult. This tiny piece still works and I love its Gothic-inspired design."

Get it from JWLGANG on Etsy for $26.60+ (available in two finishes, four lengths, and in capital or lowercase letters A–Z).

    6. An iridescent waist pack from Adidas so you can stay hands-free on all of your long, rambling walks and your phone and wallet can enjoy some chill time in an undeniably cool bag.

Genevieve says: "Whenever I'm out and about or on a run, I always like to keep essential items in a secure place. This iridescent pouch fits comfortably on my hips and has room for my keys, cellphone, credit cards, and a charger. Plus it adds a pop of color to whatever outfit I'm wearing!"

Get it from Adidas for $25 (originally $35).

    7. Ultra Hydrating Green Juice Cleanser from Acure that uses a veritable bouquet of greens like kale, spinach, neem, and spirulina to give your thirsty skin the rich hydration it craves.

    Genevieve Scarano / BuzzFeed

Genevieve says: "Having dry skin is *not* fun and my forehead, T-zone, and cheeks feel like a desert sometimes. This cleanser is like H2O for my face. It's packed with adaptogens and supergreens that help lock in hydration. I use this 'super smoothie' to give my complexion a moisture boost and remove stubborn makeup."

Get it from Acure for $12.99.

On Genevieve's wishlist right now? The purrrfect throw pillow, an eye-catching nail polish set, and a high-quality small-batch whiskey.

Stepping up to the plate, we have Rachel Dunkel...wait a second...that's me! Wow, this is just like in the "Threat Level Midnight" episode of The Office when the narrator was actually Michael Scarn all along. *Touches earpiece* OK, I'm getting reports that this is actually nothing like that.

    Rachel Dunkel / BuzzFeed

I currently live in Detroit and work at BuzzFeed as a shopping editor focusing on product reviews, but before that I had just about every odd job you can imagine — I hope you never had me as your server or bartender, because I was...quite bad! I love camping and am currently obsessed with planning long, hypothetical backpacking trips. Indulgently, I have more than one interest, and some others are knitting, being just OK at Fortnite, baking, watching old movies, and playing the only three songs I will ever know on guitar over and over again. It's also important to me that you know I once watched the movie Julie and Julia five times in one day — and that was before quarantine.

    8. A Salvador-scented candle from Bright Black whose wide, wooden wick burns evenly and perfectly. I genuinely look forward to lighting this candle every morning and filling my home with its fresh, effervescent scent.

    Rachel Dunkel / BuzzFeed

This is 100% the best candle I've purchased this year. It has a wide, wooden wick, which burns beautifully, and the scent is awakening and refreshing. Bright Black is a Black-owned family business making candles that honor the Diaspora, and I can't wait to eventually get to try them all. A perfect gift for yourself and everyone on your holiday gifting list.

Get it from Bright Black for $28 and shop all of their candles here.

    9. An exercise bike that really gets my blood pumping! After being on the couch for months on end, I'm grateful for every drop of sweat I've produced since getting this glorious machine. And because I also greatly miss exercise classes, I've found even this relatively affordable bike pairs wonderfully with the Peloton App.

    Rachel Dunkel / BuzzFeed

A few months ago, my partner and I caved and got an exercise bike. It felt a bit indulgent but WOW has this thing lifted our spirits like nothing else. I also got the Peloton app, because *newsflash* you don't need a Peloton bike to have access to all of their cycling videos! I used to love exercise classes, so cycling daily has been a real mood-booster. The bike itself is great. No fuss, easy to put together, and gets us sweatin'. Highly recommend the combination of a more affordable bike and the Peloton app.

Get the bike from Amazon for $198.95 or Dick's Sporting Goods for $248.99 and get the Peloton app for $12.99/month after a 30-day free trial.

    10. Ritual Tequila Alternative and Monday Zero Alcohol Gin so I can have a tasty mixed drink at the end of the day even though I don't drink! I highly recommend these for nondrinkers who still love the herbaceous qualities of spirits and to *cheers* with loved ones.

bottles of the non-alcoholic tequila and gin next to a mocktail
    Rachel Dunkel / BuzzFeed

I stopped drinking a few years ago, but I've really missed fixing a lil' cocktail at the end of the day. With Ritual and Monday, cocktail hour is back, baby! Ritual's tequila has the spicy-smoky factor that makes mezcal so excellent and Monday's gin is forwardly aromatic with the spirit's signature juniper flavor front and center. Having a mocktail that doesn't just taste like juice? Heaven.

Get them from Amazon: Ritual Tequila Alternative for $26.99 and Monday Zero Alcohol Gin for $39.99.

On my wishlist right now? A pair of Altra trail runners, which reviewers claim is the best backpacking shoe, a tranquil Jungalow quilt, a blackberry peppercorn shrub for strengthening my mocktail game even more, and a Telfar shopping bag because...of course!

And finally, some picks from Rebecca — aka Bek — O'Connell whose ability to find cute, random, I-can't-live-without-this products on Etsy and beyond astounds me. She's also always down to talk about Brooklyn alt comedy with me, which I'm sure makes us insufferable to eavesdroppers, but ya know what? That's fine!

    Rebecca O'Connell / BuzzFeed

In her own words: "I'm a senior editor on the BuzzFeed Shopping team living in Brooklyn, NY. I'm a third-generation New Yorker so YES I have very strong opinions on bagels. I'm a big fan of houseplants (I have 60 of 'em) so you can come to me if you need some help with your wilted peace lily (not enough water) or squishy cactus (too much water). If I'm not fussing over plants, I'm probably playing indie video games, reading literary fantasy (the dragon is a metaphor, you see), or attempting to bake a presentable looking cake. If you need help finding something that’s geeky, creepy-cute, or just regular cute, you can find me at @bekonnell on Twitter."

    11. A pack of large silk scrunchies from Brooklinen to pull back your tresses gently and without causing damage. Not to mention they're just really, REALLY pretty.

    Rebecca O'Connell / BuzzFeed

Bek says: "You've heard of silk pillowcases and the wonders they work on hair (less friction, baby!), but have you considered silk SCRUNCHIES? These luxurious hair ties are A Bit Much, but honestly worth the splurge. They're super soft and don't pull on my delicate strands when I remove them. They also just look a lot more polished than my usual tie-dye and leopard print ones."

    Get a three-pack from Brooklinen for $32.

    12. Scoops ice cream from Daily Harvest whose coconut cream base is gentle on non-lactose-loving tummies but maintains the rich, crave-able, creaminess of dairy ice cream. Available in five tasty flavors, there's something for everyone!

    Rebecca O'Connell / BuzzFeed

Bek says: "Apparently, drinking a dragonfruit Vitamin Water in middle school was a pivotal moment for me because I haven't stopped thinking about the allusive spiny fruit since. While purchasing a whole fresh dragonfruit in the states continues to be an activity exclusively for the mega-rich (up there with big boats and horse sports), us commoners can settle for things simply made with it. A pint of Daily Harvest's dairy-free berry ice cream comes with organic dragonfruit, coconut, strawberry, and raspberry, and costs $8.99 — roughly the same cost as a plain ole' dragonfruit. (PS. if you're getting into Daily Harvest's ice cream, check out the Midnight Fudge flavor too, because it's unreasonably good.)"

Get the Berry Compote Scoops above from Daily Harvest for $8.99 and shop all of their flavors here.

    13. A subscription to Book of the Month so you always have a bestseller to look forward to. Select one out of five options every month and in a snap, it arrives at your door!

Bek's Book of the Month tote and copy of Ninth House
    Rebecca O'Connell / BuzzFeed

Bek says: "When I first heard about Book of the Month Club, I was skeptical. I can figure out what to read on my own, tyvm! But it's more than just 'let this company send you a random book.' You get to pick one of five books each month (or skip a month if nothing calls to you) and then you get a nice hardcover book in the mail. My favorite so far has been Ninth House by Leigh Bardugo: a fantasy thriller that imagines what it would be like if Yale's secret societies actually dabbled in black magic. I devoured it in almost one sitting. If you love ghosts, a reluctant Scooby gang, and a scathing critique of Ivy League classism, I highly recommend this engrossing read."

Get it from Book of the Month starting at $49.99 for a three-month subscription.

On Bek's wishlist right now? Some adorable Nintendo Switch thumb grip caps, a very flattering candle, the happiest ruler in the land, and a pack of patterned masks from a queer-owned small biz.
