    1. Airtight pop containers to keep every last one of your pantry items from going stale. They're also stackable, so you at least have a SHOT at keeping your shelves looking neat.

Amazon, Rebecca O'Connell / Via BuzzFeed

Promising review: "How did I not know about these? I love these containers. I reorganized my cupboards and pantry and use these not only for pasta and crackers, but store my dishwasher packs in one, cleaning sponges in another. My husband uses them in the garage as well. I like that I only need one hand to use them. And they stack which makes even more room under my kitchen sink and pantry." —sharwill

    2. An avocado-saver so your green tree meat can last longer without getting brown and icky. You no longer have to dump an entire avocado onto once piece of toast just so it doesn't go bad — unless, of course, that's what you want.

    amazon.com

Promising review: "I basically buy these for everyone as a gift because they're so amazing. First avocado-saver product I've used that legit works. Helpful avo tip I learned when living in California: leave the pit in with avocado to stop it from browning (seriously, even leave it in your guac) — it helps!" —Nicole

    3. Fanola purple shampoo to help anyone with bleached hair maintain their icy look without expensive trips to the salon. The shampoo gives hair a healthy dose of toning with every wash, keeping the ever-present threat of brassiness from coming through.

    amazon.com

Promising review: "I'm not one to leave reviews, but this product deserves it! Holy cow! I was going to go into the salon to brighten my hair up, but after discovering this product I cancelled my appointment. I'm totally in love! This shampoo is not drying at all and just after two washes I achieved my desired results! I can't recommend it enough!" —Rachael

Get it from Amazon for $14.97.

If you're a blondie who's tired of being brassy, check out "If You Color Your Hair Blonde, You Need This Purple Shampoo" for more info.

    4. An air purifier so you're breathing the freshest air possible. Especially when you're inside a ton this winter, you're gonna be sooo happy when you look at the filter and see all the dust, mold, and pet dander particles you didn't inhale.

    amazon.com

The purifier has a three-stage filtration system, circulates air in a room about four times per hour, and is 100% ozone-free.

Promising review (above photos): "After having used this for a few months I can confidently say how great this air purifier is. With the wildfires the air quality in Oregon has been very unhealthy and at times hazardous. Combined with the heat we have no choice but to leave our windows open or the air conditioner running. We also have hardwood floors so the dust, dander, and pet hair gets kicked up very easily. This air purifier has made a world of difference! No smoke smell in the room we run it in and I don't have to worry as much about my son constantly breathing in the smog." —mtoddity

Get it from Amazon for $81.99+ (available in two colors).

    5. A nose-saving bottle of Poo-Pourri toilet spray people swear helps keep their BMs on the DL. Keep your bathroom from becoming a smelly horror with just a few spritzes.

    instagram.com

Promising review: "I have these sprays in every bathroom in my home. I also travel with them because you know how it is in a hotel with the bathroom right there by where you're sleeping. I also keep one at work, although I had to start hiding it in the bathroom because apparently other people love it as much as I do and decided to take it home with them. I highly recommend. So much more effective than the 'courtesy flush.' By the time you do that one, the problem is already 'out there.' With Poo-Pourri, it never has a chance. I haven't met a scent I didn't like so far. What a great idea!" —Kindle Customer

Get it from Amazon for $4.64+ (available in seven sizes and 30 scents).

    6. A rosehip and hibiscus eye cream so you can always look well-rested and ready to take on a great day.

    amazon.com, amazon.com

Promising review: "Great cream. Doesn’t have a strong smell. My skin is super sensitive and it didn’t bother it at all. I noticed the fine lines around my eyes diminishing after two and a half weeks. All their products are fantastic!" —Crystal VerPlanck

Get it from Amazon for $19.99.

    7. A pair of charcoal shoe deodorizers to take the funk out of your most beloved pairs. Your roommates, lovers, family, friends, and even enemies will thank you.

    amazon.com

To recharge these babies, just place them in a nice sunbeam.

Promising review: "I have a pair of black leather flats that stank so badly my husband would yell if I took them off anywhere near him. But I love the shoes! I had to find something to make the stench go away. Mini Moso was the answer. I honestly couldn’t believe it. A few days after placing them in my prized shoes, I took a whiff from about a foot away. Nothing. I got closer. Nothing. I stuck my nose practically in the shoe. Ok, maybe that’s pushing things, but I’ve got to tell you that 95% of the broken-in leather grossness was gone. So happy!" —Erin

Get a pair from Amazon for $9.95.

    8. Or bigger, multipurpose charcoal deodorizers so you can live your best life: your normal life but with fewer strange smells.

    amazon.com

Besides soaking up stink, charcoal is also said to help prevent mold, mildew, and air-borne pathogens. To recharge the bags, simply place them in the sun for about an hour.

Promising review: "These are wonderful. I can’t say enough good things. We live in an older house, and travel a lot, and these save the day. Everything used to smell musty when we returned, but not any more! It also sucked up some fish odor after an ill-advised dinner choice. I recommend these to everyone." —ms. m

Get a set of four from Amazon for $19.95.

    9. A natural deodorant that actually works — I know, an anomaly. But this deo helps me beat the stink *and* is aluminum-free!

    Rachel Dunkel / Via BuzzFeed

The fact is, I'm naturally very smelly. I've wanted to try to make the switch to natural deodorant but was really nervous about stinkin' it up during the transition. I had no problem at all during the switch! Even after workouts, I smelled pretty dang fresh. The clay in the formulas also helps with perspiration. It's not as effective as an antiperspirant but definitely combats some wetness. But it's definitely as effective as "normal" deodorant at preventing stench, which is really what I was looking for. Just warm it in your pits for a second before application and it glides on just fine.

Get it from Amazon for $9.99 (available in 14 scents).

    10. A brown sugar bear to soften sugar that's become hard as a friggin' rock. Don't panic, sugar! A strong, helpful bear is on its way to help loosen you up.

    Amazon

Just soak it in water for 20 minutes, dry it off, stick it in the container of sugar, and wait! About a day later, it should be nice and soft.

Promising review: "Seriously one of the best things I've ever bought. Pays for itself in the brown sugar saved from trash and/or energy spent reviving rock hard brown sugar via other methods. It's basically a variation on the old 'place a slice of bread in with the brown sugar' trick, but it's reusable and safer. I once tried that method but eventually I forgot it was in there so the bread dried out too much and started to mold. This method is much safer, less fussy, and reusable." —Jen

Get it from Amazon for $5.74.

    11. An Aerogarden so you can have access to fresh herbs year-round — no green thumbs necessary. Yes, that even applies to you irresponsible folk! This machine truly takes care of everything.

    Macy's

The Aerograden features LED grow lights as well as a system to remind you when to add water and plant food, ensuring your plants have everything they need to thrive!

Get it from BuzzFeed's Goodful collection, exclusively Macy's for $129.99 (originally $189.99, available in two colors).

For more info on the aerogarden, check out "Grow Herbs In Your Apartment With Zero Effort Using This Smart Countertop Garden." Spoiler alert: it works! Even in a tiny New York City apartment.

    12. A tongue scraper, because residue on your tongue may be standing between you and fresh breath. Don't let it!

    amazon.com

Promising review: "It's hard to review this product without grossing people out but I think the truth needs to get out. There is some nasty stuff on your tongue that a toothbrush cannot remove, especially in the back. This thing allows you to remove it easily without gagging yourself by trying to shove a toothbrush down your throat. I was definitely surprised the first time I used it how much material I removed, and yes that stuff smells bad. After that first time I couldn't get anywhere near as much off of my tongue which tells me that the material had been there a while. My breath is noticeably better now. This is a very simple tool and it cleans up well since it's just a piece of stainless steel and rubber handles." —Amazon Customer

Get it from Amazon for $6.15.

    13. A wine-saver so your half-drunk bottles keep from getting yucky while they wait for you to finish them. Be patient, wine — we'll be back soon!

    Amazon

Place the cap on, pump until you hear a "click" and yahoo! Your wine is safely stored!

Promising review: "Having downed a bottle or two in my life, I've always been flummoxed as to how to store the wine afterwards. I'm quite picky and the taste of 'blown' wine is disgusting. This is the solution. The stoppers fit perfectly (naturally) and the vacuum pump is also perfect. Just pump until you hear the click and the job is done. Easy to release the pressure and re-enjoy the wine. For the cost of wine, the minor expense of this pump and stopper system pays for itself immediately. In vino veritas!" —erik

Get it from Amazon for $11.89.

    14. Food huggers to keep anything from a halved tomato to an opened can covered and ready for use another day.

    Amazon

These silicone beauties store inside one another and will be reusable for a long, long time and can also be used over half-empty cans, lidless mason jars, and small containers!

Promising review: "I did a side by side comparison: half an avocado in plastic wrap next to half an avocado in a hugger. Did the same for half a tomato. These food huggers did a better job! No browning and very minimal wrinkling. Made a delicious salad after my little experiment too!" —Barkley

Get a set of four sizes from Amazon for $8.97+ (available in two colors).

    15. A cooler that will keep your food, drinks, and perishables cool for literal days. Whether you're out camping, on the boat, or just hosting a little party, this cooler's got ya covered.

    amazon.com, Amazon

The cooler holds 70 quarts, has insulated walls and lid for maximum cold retention, and features cup holders on top.

Promising review: "We bought this for a weekend camping trip. We put two solid blocks of ice in the bottom (froze a pot full of water and an aluminum tray), and then covered everything with two store-bought bags of ice. It lasted from Friday afternoon to Sunday afternoon with 50–75% of the ice still there. This was over a hot weekend with the cooler left in the car. Our milk, cheese, yogurt, and perishable fruits kept perfectly. We definitely feel like we got our money's worth and can't wait to use this cooler in the future!" —AG

Get it from Amazon for $50.21.

    16. A pack of natural bamboo and charcoal absorbing tissues in a convenient pack so you can soak up any excess oil on your face throughout the day. "Ahhh, that feels much better." —your face after using one of these.

    amazon.com, amazon.com

Promising review: "I have been searching for something as effective as this for a long time now. I have extremely oily skin. I live in the Caribbean and whether I wear foundation or not, very early in the day my face is covered in oil, mostly over my T-zone. I tried this and it is excellent. It picks up the oil quickly, leaving my face naturally matte for hours. I am well pleased with the light weight of the sheets. The pack fits perfectly in my purse or jeans pockets. I have no dislikes. I will stock up on it. Anyone with oily skin will find this as a must-have." —Melisa

    Get a 100-pack from Amazon for $6.95.

    17. A produce-saver container to keep your fruits and veggies nice and fresh until it's time to eat! No more casting glances towards your long-unopened crisper drawer in shame, knowing that you're going to have to buy all new produce.

    Natalie Brown / Via BuzzFeed

The set includes one 6.3 cup container, and two 17.3 cup containers with lids, which are BPA-free, and dishwasher-safe. They feature vents to regulate the flow of oxygen and carbon dioxide, keeping your produce fresh as can be!

Promising review: "I bought my fruit on Friday and ordered this immediately because I’m so sick of throwing my fruit away if I don’t eat it in a few days. It’s been a WEEK now and my strawberries, pineapple, and blueberries, (all in this one big container), are STILL FRESH! I’m going to start buying more fresh fruit now that I know it won’t be wasted and thrown away in a few days. Highly recommend this product if you’re like me and can’t eat a whole pineapple, strawberries, and other fruit fast!" —Sarah

Get the three-piece set from Amazon for $26.99.

    18. A pack of reusable Bee's Wrap for gently enveloping anything you'd normally put in plastic wrap, but without the disposable waste!

    instagram.com

Promising review: "My Bee's Wrap products have been amazing, and when I use them instead of disposable plastic wrap or plastic bags, I feel even more amazing for being eco-friendly. They work BETTER than plastic because the Bee's Wrap sticks to itself and can be molded around the product so there is less air in contact with the food. For example, when I cut up a cucumber and only need half, I would usually put it in a plastic bag and put in the fridge. When it came time to use the other half, the first inch or so of the cut side would be dried out and gross. So, I would have to cut that part off and throw away, causing both plastic and food waste. But with Bee's Wrap, because there is a seal around the end, the produce stays fresh and there is no need to cut off extra food to be wasted. I will be giving these out as gifts as well later in the year because they are so awesome. I would highly recommend." —Stephanie

Get a set of small, medium, and large sizes from Amazon for $18+ (available in four patterns).

    19. Lavender sachets to place among your hanging, folded, and stored clothes to keep them from getting musty.

    Amazon

Promising review: "I’ve been putting these in large plastic totes with winter clothing and in hanging plastics garment bags. After six months of storage clothes come out smelling fresh and pest-free." —Rae

    Get a 16-pack from Amazon for $14.99.

    20. A KitchenAid electric coffee grinder with a removable bowl that makes it easy to transfer the ground coffee to the maker of your choice. Fresh-ground coffee is — famously — the freshest, and that's that on that.

    Amazon

Promising review: "I grew up in San Francisco and lived in Seattle for a long time. In other words, I like good coffee! I know that there are coffee purists who will pooh pooh anything but a burr grinder, but frankly I can't tell the difference between a burr grinder and this one. I'm super happy with it. It looks nice, but more importantly it does an excellent job of grinding coffee, and doesn't spill everywhere when you dump out the grounds, which some other models do every single time. I've had mine a year, and it seems to be going strong. I'm buying another one for our other house." —A. Wheeler

Get it from Amazon for $29.99.

    21. A cruelty-free, vegan, and aluminum-free crystal travel deodorant you'll love so much for keeping you odor-free, you'll want to keep it in your bag (and in your pits) at all times.

    instagram.com

The deodorant also boasts 24-hour wear, ensuring your pits can avoid *the funk* all day long.

Promising review: "This is my favorite deodorant. I have the travel- and full-size. I keep the travel-size one in my purse and unlike other deodorants, you don't have to worry about different temperatures affecting it. It lasts forever! I just run the stick under water for a second and then shake it (you want it damp) and then roll it under my arms. I have very sensitive skin — I often get a rash under my arms from other deodorants and that has never happened with this one. It really works. I work all day and then go to the gym to do a hard workout and rarely have to reapply. It's incredible that this is salt and it protects from B.O. so well. The cap screws off easily." —Ali

Get it from Amazon for $3+ (available in four styles).

    22. A Quip toothbrush so your toofers are always bright and clean. They send you a new brush head every three months so you don't end up putting bristles in your mouth that are wayyy too old.

    instagram.com

Famously, one of my grossest qualities is that I hate brushing my teeth — Quip makes it so much easier to convince myself to stand at the sink for two WHOLE minutes. It vibrates rather than rotates, so it's not too harsh on sensitive teeth and it cues you to switch to another corner of your mouth every 30 seconds. I travel a lot, so I love that its stand also doubles as a travel cover — genius!

The starter set comes with an electric toothbrush base, a cover/mount, and an optional toothpaste. Refills come with a brush head, AAA battery, and optional toothpaste.

Get a starter set from Quip for $25+ with $5+ refills every three months.

    23. A tube of tattoo lotion to protect your ink from getting faded and needing touch-ups due to sun damage. Swipe this SPF 30 stick on just in case you get a little more vitamin D than anticipated.

    amazon.com, amazon.com

Promising review: "Worked perfectly to cover and protect small, new tattoos on wrist and foot. Applied prior to a four hour tubing trip and had no burns to areas where applied. Also worked great during a beach vacation where areas were exposed to sun, sand, and water. It's a huge tube, so I also apply it every night to my wrist and use it as a lip balm. Would purchase again without hesitation. Little to no odor and caused no issues with my sometimes sensitive skin." —Karen H.

Get it from Amazon for $9.99.

    24. A literal Fresh Soy Face Cleanser whose amino acid-rich soy proteins, soothing rosewater, and borage seed oil cleanse and take off makeup so gently and effectively, it's a verified cult-fave.

    instagram.com

Promising review: "Fresh's Soy Face Cleanser is absolutely one of my favorite cleansers. I have oily and sensitive skin and this cleanser is gentle, but removes the dirt and oil like a charm. I use this with my Clarisonic face brush and it works great with it, too. This cleanser rinses clean without leaving behind any residue. My skin feels super clean and refreshed after using this cleanser. Great product!" —tenngal

Get it from Sephora for $15+ (available in two sizes).

    25. A Stasher Bag so your lunch sammies, snacks, and leftovers can keep from going stale *without* having to use disposable zip-top bags.

    Amazon

Stasher bags have so many uses! They are obviously great for storing and transporting food, but they can also be used to sous vide, marinate, and microwave. And they're dishwasher-safe!

Promising review: "What's not to love about Stasher bags? They are so versatile, colorful, and easy to care for. Bonus: you are keeping plastic out of landfills! I use these for meal-prep and kids' lunchboxes. Easy to open and, again, so easy to clean. Stop browsing for environmental alternatives, and order these today!" —Drea_reviews

Get a sandwich-sized bag from Amazon for $11.99+ (available in five sizes and eight colors).

    26. A washable shower curtain liner, because the "buy a new plastic one every five years and just shower next to a mildewy nightmare" method needs to stop.

    amazon.com

The liner is machine washable for maximum cleanliness!

Promising review: "This is the way to go if you've had it with trying to find the seemingly non-existent mildew-proof plastic liner. These are sheer enough to let a fair amount of light through and it took eight months for any mildew to start forming in a shower where before I'd be replacing the liner every three months. The liner launders perfectly (used gentle cycle and extra low heat) so unless it's used roughly I can see it remaining in good shape through a number of wash cycles." —A. Quint

Get it from Amazon for $8.50 (available in six colors and six fabrics).

    27. A bottle of wrinkle releaser spray to make your clothes appear freshly laundered...even if they've been crumpled up in a drawer for a few weeks.

    amazon.com

Promising review: "As a college student with a full course load, I'm in and out of my room all the time. This helps me keep my clothes wrinkle-free without having to waste time ironing them. It's also great as it leaves a VERY nice smell on my clothes." —Seth

    Get a two-pack from Amazon for $13.94.

    28. A pack of Bottle Bright tabs for keeping your tumblers and water bottles clean as a whistle. You know how sometimes you realize your water is somehow like...stinky? Let's fix that.

    amazon.com

Promising review: "I seriously can't believe how well these little tablets work. I had the most disgusting HydroFlask coffee mug — I tried everything. Bottle brush, different kinds of soap, vinegar, EVERYTHING, and there was still a seemingly impenetrable layer of black sludge inside. It grossed me out so much that I bought ANOTHER HydroFlask to replace it. Now eventually they both got black inside, so I tried these little magic tablets. I let a tablet sit in each of my mugs for an hour or two, and the black sludge rinsed out COMPLETELY, without even scrubbing. They look brand new. What a magical product. No weird smell or taste afterward, either. I liked it so much I used it on another HydroFlask I use primarily to hold my Bloody Mary mix in the fridge. I couldn't put anything else in it because it would always taste like spicy tomato juice. Bottle Bright to the rescue! No residual smell or taste anymore. AMAZING, AMAZING, AMAZING." —Amazon Customer
