    2. Food52 never fails to innovate on kitchen basics and improve them a hundred fold. Their line Five Two is a shining star among kitchen product brands, but their curated selection of items also take the cake.


    Why they're great: Food52 proves that small changes to classic styles and thoughtful design can be life-changing in the kitchen. Take their silicone lids above, for example. I have them and reach for them nearly every day since they seal almost any container, can be used as a pot lids, and are a perfect swap for plastic wrap. I don't know how I lived without them!

    Why they're great: Cooking is *so* much more work when you don't have exactly the right tools, and OXO is here to make sure you're always armed with the best. There's no better place to pick up affordable, simple staples β€” the fact that 90% of the people reading this probably have the same Ikea glasses is proof.


    Why they're great: To know Ikea is to love Ikea β€” you just can't beat the quality for the price, in my opinion. The glasses and dishes I have from there have been in by cabinets for 6+ years and will be for...ever? And while i may have upgraded some of my Ikea pots and pans, I will forever be thankful for their service as my first grown-up kitchen set. If you need to outfit an entire kitchen on a budget, Ikea is my β€” and many other people's β€” top recommendation.
