    Just use the mat whenever you would normally reach for parchment paper. It's heat safe up to 500 degrees. To wash, just rinse with hot, soapy water. I truly adore my Silpat mats!

    9. A Joule sous-vide cooker so you can get your steak, chicken, and pork to the *perfect* temperature while keeping it as juicy as possible.

    The sous vide is controlled with an app that's compatible with iPhone and Android. To use, put whatever you want to cook in a bag, place it in a pot of water with the sous vide, and it will gently bring your food to whatever temperature you need and hold it there. Then, if you're cooking a steak or pork-chops, for example, you just sear and enjoy! I have one and love it.

    10. A rice cooker — if you've never used one, you don't know what you're missing. Sure you can make rice pretty easily in a pot, but being able to just pour in your rice and water, walk away, and come back to perfect rice is so sweet.

    The inside of the rice cooker is nonstick and it comes with a rice-scooping spatula and a measuring cup. It has a button for white rice and a button for brown rice, but it can also steam basically anything! I also have this rice cooker and truly use it every other day.
