How Many Units Should You Do For HSC Engish?

First up - how much do you like essay writing?

Are you able to read a lot of texts in a very short amount of time? 

What's your favourite subject?

How well do you work independently on writing?

How are your research skills?

When you first heard about the different English courses, which one jumped out at you first?

You just want to get this English thing over and done with. Essay writing can be useful but, you're just not that interested in how texts can be read in 10 different ways.

Standard English

You don't hate English and abstract ideas are comfortably challenging in your opinion. Or your school doesn't offer it and you have no other choice. Either way, the mix of decent scaling and still not that many outside of class hours make Advanced English the best pick for you!

Advanced English

Essay writing ability? Check (-ish). Opinions? Check (-ish). You're ready to tackle some sociopolitical issues and get deeper into that literature in context vibe. And you know what? The scaling is a bonus!

English Extension 1

It was made for you. You don't just want to listen to what other people have to say. YOU have thoughts that you know will culminate into a piece of work that's worth something! If not to anyone else, at least to you :)
