'Zoinks' Officially Added To Oxford Dictionary

It's one of 14 new additions this year including 'Framp', 'Scroont' and 'Jub Jub'

Oxford Dictionaries has finally realeased the new English words that will be added to their 2018 edition of the Oxford Dictionary.

The Oxford Dictionary Company maintains a standard of always keeping up with the latest lingo and updates their dictionary every year to fit in the ever-growing catalogue of English words that are being created all over the globe. Their published dictionaries are highly regarded as the number one source of spelling and grammar.

Some words to be added to the new edition of the Dictionary are:

Zoinks

'Zionks' originates from the children's TV show "Scooby-Doo" and is the main catchphrase of the character 'Shaggy'. It has recently become popular amongst teens to say when something is surprising. Zionks! I didn't see you there!

Framp

'Framp' is when something is so disgusting, that when you even think about it, it makes you want to throw up. This tuna sandwich is totally framp.

Scroont

'Scroont' is when you expected something to be pretty bad but you were pleasantly surprised. Often paired with the phrase That's pretty scroontin tootin rataloutin meaning: I was not expecting that

Jub Jub

Much like the name 'Hermione' being added to the dictionary, Jub Jub has finally made the cut and is being officially recognised, 10 years after the anniversary of his death. We miss you Jub Jub.

God-Church

'God church', created by Jake Paul, is a term reffering to something that is big and powerful. Just dropped some new merch and it's selling like a God-church

Snongle

When something is 'Snongle' it refers to it being highly irrelevant and boring. I went to this movie yesterday and was such a snongle

Oxford dictionary has not fully released the complete list of 14 words, but you should be on the lookout for the complete list coming within the next month
