The antiques and eclectic assortment of relics attract tourists and locals alike. There’s many outdated typewriters and jewellery in the Old Dutch Fort. This has been named a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
This museum belonged to Abdul Gaffoor who started a personal collection of ancient knick-knacks of every variety to be found in Galle to save whatever remaining traces of Galle’s history.
There are plenty of books of interest, old clothing, and finery and an interesting collection of porcelain ware printed with the logo of the Dutch East Indies Company.
