    I'm a white woman and my partner is a Native American man. Most people look at him and go "oh he's brown, he must be Mexican." When we go out, a lot of Latinx people will start to speak to him in spanish-which he doesn't speak-and I have to explain in spanish-which I speak painfully…

    I'm a Veterinary Receptionist and Vet tech in the Bay Area. Mostly I answer phones and run the office (including ordering things and making sure my doctor runs on time) I make $25/hr, and that's because I am SUPER lucky. My boss is awesome, and we're an absolutely TINY clinic.…
