    My partner and I were targets of homophobic charged verbal abuse in public and so many of our straight colleagues response was to default to gaslighting us by saying that it most likely didn’t have anything to with us being a queer couple and there must have been ‘some other reason’…

    phillo commented on Who Is A Horror Movie Actor Who Carried The Entire Movie On Their Back?

    Lupita N’Yongo’s performance in Us was phenomenal and her being overlooked for awards season is practically criminal. My other mention would be Anya Taylor Joy in The VVitch. She carried that movie and it’s doubly impressive considering that was her first feature role.
