Philadelphia Sandwiches Four Ways

Ingredients

Open BLT Sandwich

Serves: 2

60g Philadelphia Original

1 tomato

ยผ Lettuce

4 bacon rashers

2 slices sourdough, toasted

Roasted Mediterranean Veggie Wrap

Serves: 2

60g Philadelphia Original

1 red pepper, chopped

1 yellow pepper, chopped

1 courgette, chopped

1 red onion, chopped

30ml olive oil

1 tsp salt

ยฝ tsp black pepper

1 tsp mixed herbs

2 tortilla wraps

100g Philadelphia cream cheese

ยผ lettuce, finely chopped

1 tomato, deseeded & finely chopped

Italian Pesto Chicken & Rocket

Serves: 2

60g Philadelphia Original

2 chicken breast, cut lengths ways in half

ยฝ tsp salt

ยผ tsp black pepper

50g pesto

4 slices granary bread

1 tbsp olive oil

2 tomatoes

Rockets 30g

Smoked Salmon & Cucumber Open Sandwich

Serves: 2

60g Philadelphia Original

2 slices of wholemeal bread, toasted

ยฝ a cucumber

80g smoked salmon

2 lemon wedges

Cracked black pepper, optional

Preparations

Open BLT Sandwich

1. Preheat the oven to 190C and line a baking tray with foil, set aside.

2. Add the bacon to the baking tray and cook for 8-10 minutes, or until cooked to your liking.

3. Take your toasted sourdough and spread over 30g Philadelphia. Top with a piece of lettuce, 2 slices of bacon and tomato. Serve & enjoy!

Roasted Mediterranean Veggie Wrap

1. Preheat the oven to 190C and line a baking tray with foil, set aside.

2. Add the red pepper, yellow pepper, red onion , olive oil, salt, black pepper & mixed herbs to a large bowl and stir to combine. Next pour out onto your baking tray.

3. Roast the veggies for 20-25 minutes or until starting to brown, delicious and roasted!

4. To build your wrap spread 30g Philadelphia over the center of the wrap and top with your roasted veggies, tomato & lettuce. Fold the sides in and wrap tightly away from you. Slice in half, serve & enjoy!

Italian Pesto Chicken & Rocket

1. Start by adding the halved chicken breast to a large bowl and add the salt, pepper & pesto. Stir until the chicken is completely coated in the pesto. Cover and marinade in the refrigerator for 10 minutes (the longer the better!)

2. Take a large frying and place over a low-medium heat. Add 1 tbsp of oil and add the chicken breast. Cover with a lid and cook for 6-7 minutes a side or until the chicken is golden brown on the outside and cooked through.

3. Thinly slice the chicken and leave to cool slightly. Next it's time to build your tasty sandwich.

4. Take a slice of your granary bread and spread over 30g of Philadelphia. Top slices of chicken, tomatoes and a handful of rocket. Top with another slice of bread, slice in half & serve!

Smoked Salmon & Cucumber Open Sandwich

1. Take your cucumber and create thin slices by running a peeler down the length of the cucumber. Youโ€™ll need around 3-4 slices of cucumber per slice of toast. Set aside.

2. Take your toasted brown bread and spread over 30g of Philadelphia.

Top with 40g of thin slices of smoked salmon and your thinly sliced cucumber.

3. Finish with a squeeze of lemon juice and a sprinkling of black pepper.
