10 Celebrities Who Came Out As Pro-Life
It ain't easy coming out (as pro-life). But these actors, singers, and athletes aren't ashamed to stand up for babies in the womb.
1. Justin Bieber
Justin Bieber told Rolling Stone in 2011: “I really don’t believe in abortion. I think [an embryo] is a human. It’s like killing a baby.”
His mom, Pattie Mallette, has been deeply involved with promoting the pro-life short film Crescendo. Mallette turned to a Crisis Pregnancy Center which provided her support when she was pregnant with Justin. She says the center "saved their lives."
2. Jack Nicholson
Nicholson's mother chose life for Jack as a pregnant teenager. “I’m very contra my constituency in terms of abortion because I’m positively against it. I don’t have the right to any other view,” Nicholson told the National Review in 2003. “My only emotion is gratitude, literally, for my life.”
3. Tim Tebow
The most controversial man in the NFL, Tim Tebow, is widely known for his Christian views. After all, he famously put Bible verses on his eye black. But what much of the world didn't know, until a Super Bowl ad in 2010, is that his mother was pressured to have an abortion while serving as a missionary to the Philippines. Tebow's mom chose life and Tim is widely known to stand firm in his pro-life convictions.
4. Andrea Bocelli

The talented Italian musician came forward in 2011 to share his pro-life story. His mother was encouraged to have an abortion after she was misdiagnosed with appendicitis while pregnant with Andrea. She chose life for her unborn son. A world without Bocelli would be a darker world indeed.
5. Ben Stein
The notorious bespectacled professor from Ferris Bueller's Day Off isn't shy about his pro-life views. He told PBS in 2012 that, "The number one issue is right to life. I don’t think the Democrats are very good on the right-to-life issue. People who think of abortion as a reasonable method of birth control just are never going to get my vote.”
6. Kenny Chesney

The country singer "came out" as a pro-lifer with his hit "There Goes My Life" released in 2003. His life-affirming anthem spent seven weeks at number one on the Billboard charts and extolls the blessings of parenthood.
7. Matt Birk
While you might not recognize the name, you probably watched him play in the last Super Bowl for the victorious Ravens. Matt Birk turned down a luncheon with President Obama in protest of the President's radically pro-abortion policies.
8. Phil Robertson

The Duck Dynasty star isn't afraid to stand up for his pro-life convictions. The hit A&E show is scheduled for its fourth season.
9. Kathy Ireland
Kathy Ireland is famous for gracing the covers of Vogue and Cosmopolitan magazines, but she's also a well-known pro-life speaker. She supports totally defunding Planned Parenthood, the nation's largest abortion provider.
10. Martin Sheen
This one might be surprising, since Martin Sheen is widely known as a liberal Democrat. Yet he's unabashedly pro-life and (some report) even refused to support President Obama in 2008 over the issue of abortion.
He's spoken out about his wife, who was conceived in rape. Her mother considered aborting her and even dumping her in the Ohio River after the birth, but in both instances, she chose to give her daughter life instead.
