1. Cleaning begins early. That's VERY early.
2. So does the nagging for help.
3. Christmas lunch is planned in detail.
4. The whole family is invited.
5. Your mum buys enormous amounts of food.
6. And still worries that's not enough.
7. Christmas treats are baked.
8. And eventually she gets you to help with the cooking.
9. But nothing you do is even remotely up to her standards.
10. On Christmas day she wakes you up ridiculously early to go to church.
11. And after church the last preparations begin.
12. Long tables are set.
13. Guests arrive and there's a lot of cheek pinching involved.
14. Your uncle jokes about sitting on the kids' table.
15. Food is served.
16. And wine.
17. Followed by dessert.
18. And then it's time for Greek coffee.
19. At the end everyone looks like this.
20. Except from your mum who frantically washes the dishes.
21. There's also gossip, lots of it.
22. And lots of personal questions.
23. There's also a lot of fun.
24. And maybe some more food.
25. Until guests leave.
26. And everyone is exhausted.
And this is you as soon as the house is cleaned.
