How has this not happened yet? He's in movies, he's a sketch comedy veteran, he was on an NBC sitcom for seven years, and he's now such a popular stand-up that he can sell out multiple performances at Madison Square Garden. This is a no-brainer. Let Aziz host!

3. Mindy Kaling

Mindy Kaling has become a beloved comedy icon, and it's kinda silly that she has hosted yet. Like, maybe it's just because she's busy starring and running her own show?

4. Dave Grohl

Dave Grohl has appeared as a musical performer more than anyone else in the history of SNL, but hasn't hosted. This is ridiculous, since he's easily the funniest dude in rock and there's a lot of evidence out there that he is a natural sketch performer.

5. Stephen Colbert

We are entering a very narrow window of time where Stephen Colbert would have free time to host Saturday Night Live between his gigs at The Colbert Report and The Late Show. If they don't make this happen, it's a minor tragedy.

8. Amy Schumer

Amy Schumer is a brilliant comedian with her own top notch sketch comedy show on Comedy Central. That's reason enough for her to host, but given that she's about to become a movie star in Trainwreck, a movie she made with Judd Apatow and Bill Hader, this needs to happen as soon as possible.

11. Bob Odenkirk

Bob Odenkirk is a sketch comedy legend, and a former writer for Saturday Night Live. This is the perfect moment in his career for him to step up and host, since he's now the star of his own show, Better Call Saul..

12. Kim Kardashian

Kim Kardashian has been a frequent target of mockery on SNL over the years, and it's time for her to go on the show and prove she's a good sport. She's a very charismatic person, and she has the potential to become one of those hosts who turns out to be surprisingly great.

13. Will Arnett

There is no question that Will Arnett would be a great SNL host. He's hilarious in everything, and thrives as part of an ensemble. Maybe there was a time when there was a question of whether or not he's famous enough to host, but he's definitely big enough now.

14. Tom Hiddleston

The Marvel movies are full of charming, funny dudes, but Tom Hiddleston's Loki is the funniest, most charming dude of them all. If he hosted, he'd have the internet going nuts.
