America's Next Great Restaurant was NBC's reality show that offered the eventual winner the three-location chain restaurant of their dreams. They just didn't say for how long. After just a month, the New York location for Soul Daddy, the winning restaurant, is closed. On their website they don't list the LA location either, leaving only the Minneapolis Mall of America location standing. As Eater's Amanda Kludt asks, "Could it be that the reality show route isn't the best choice for launching a business?"
Boston Sports Bar To Sell Season Passes
Red Sox color commentator Jerry Remy is opening a new sports bar in the area of, and designed to look like, Fenway Park. So confident is he in the appeal of the bar, that he is selling $500 Season Passes to customers, guaranteeing them a reserved seat for every home(or away, but not both) game, a $25 food credit for every game, and an autographed photo of himself at their table. Also available are packages for Celtics($250) and Patriot($350) games.
New Portal Ending As Of 3/3/10
Recently, Valve updated one of their games, "Portal", to include some radios, that when carried around to different places in areas, played some morse code. Now they added an extra bit on to the ending of "Portal", further fueling speculation about an announcement coming later in the month from Valve.

Beppe Bigazi, a chef for Italy's state-owned RAI-Uno, started off innocently enough, stating the fact that at times in Italy's past it was accepted to eat cats, but when he went further and not only shared his own experiences eating cat but then provided tips on how to tenderize the meat, animal activists had had enough.
