Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau is being accused of targeting the black community after he listed "certain types of music," pornography, and absentee fathers in some communities as prominent causes of violence against women.
This led to criticisms that Trudeau was singling out rap music and the black community without explicitly naming them. Toronto writer Desmond Cole broke it down in a twitter essay.
Trudeau was asked to elaborate on his remarks at a rally in Montreal Tuesday.
