Alright Dave.

He is gone but not forgotten. On 8 February, what would have been Roger's 70th birthday, his fans created Call Everyone Dave Day, in honour of a long-running gag from Only Fools and Horses.

And so #DaveDay was born.

Norfolk County Council even insisted that people refer to it as "Dave".

Football teams were improved markedly too. Definitely worth putting a tenner on Dave to score first.

Not everyone got the joke.

Local pubs were getting in on the action.

Age is no barrier to getting involved.

You can play the "What's your Only Fools and Horses Name?" game.

T-shirts are available.

But there is a serious point to all this: the people behind the dat are raising money for Pancreatic Cancer UK and have raised almost £5,000 so far. Well done Daves.

We're pleased to announce that our t-shirt sales raised 򣜀 for @PancreaticCanUK - the total raised is now ਴,886.86 http://t.co/faIc6IG3xP
