All right, it looks like pimples are in season again. It goes by many names as some call it The Green Menace, others call it Pestilence (one of the four horsemen of the apocalypse), and some say it's the Wrath of God. Whatever it is, it's very frustrating when it appears on your face especially on the tip of the nose because it will be too easy for people to pick on you and call you names like Rudolph the Pimply-Nosed Reindeer.

However, all is not lost. Even with all the scientific advancements we enjoy in our time, home remedies still offer the best solutions when it comes to removing pimples. Don't succumb to temptation and pop that zit since a laser treatment for skin scars can handle the aftermath. Have a little patience and check out these remedies you can do at the comfort of your home.

Baking Soda is the Solution

It's quite shocking to learn that a simple household item such as baking soda holds the key in eliminating those zits, right? Since it's so white and fine, you wouldn't even think that it can exfoliate your skin and reduce its redness at the same time. In order to enjoy these benefits, make a thick past by combining this with water. Then dab the paste on your acne and wait for it until it becomes powdery and dry. Rinse it off with warm water and repeat it everyday.

Sour-faced

Vinegar is the embodiment of the word sour. So how do we go about using this? Easy, just pour it all over your face and let it burn through your acne. Then make a dipping sauce out of the remains and serve it to your friends and family, like a sicker Hannibal Lecter. Actually, I'm kidding because that image so gross it should be considered a crime against humanity. The proper way to do it is to use a vinegar-soaked cotton pad and apply it to your face, leaving it on for about ten minutes before rinsing it out with cold water. Using a distilled white vinegar is best since it can reduce your acne best.

Lemon Squared

If you think vinegar is the only sour solution to pimples and acne, then you are very wrong. Lemons, best known for being delicious juice drinks and tequila companion, work twofold by reducing the redness around your pimples and drying them out faster. Grab a cotton ball and dab it on the lemon's juices then directly onto your acne. It's best to do this before sleeping so the juice will settle overnight. Make sure you don't get juice on your eyes because it will sting like a thousand servings of margaritas. On your eyeballs.
