Marvel Studios recently announced a bunch of upcoming Phase Four films and streaming shows at Comic-Con San Diego. They also revealed some major casting and character details.
And while I'm hype for everyone involved, I'm ESPECIALLY excited for the black actors joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe, cuz just like Issa, I'm rooting for everybody black.
Mahershala Ali will play the iconic vampire hunter Eric Brooks/Blade in the Blade reboot.
Brian Tyree Henry will play the tech genius Phastos in The Eternals.
Lauren Ridloff will play the super fast Makkari in The Eternals.
Teyonah Parris will play Monica Rambeau aka the second Captain Marvel in the WandaVision series.
Olatunde Olateju Olaolorun "O- T" Fagbenle will play the fixer and former SHIELD contact Mason in Black Widow.
Jeffery Wright will voice the all-seeing, all-knowing Watcher in the What If...? series.
Keep in mind, these films and shows are all dropping sometime in 2020 and 2021, so that means Marvel's got even more exciting casting announcements up its sleeves!
