Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children. The condensed characters in disappointing ways. A 2 hour movie wasn't the right vehicle for the story. A multi part series would be able to allow all the great characters and backstories to be featured.

Never crack eggs directly into the dish you're making. Crack them into a separate dish, then add them one by one. Seems like an unnecessary step until that one time you get a bad egg.
