Baking is both an art and a science, and cookie-making is no exception.
But I don't have to tell you, the cookie enthusiast, that. You know that making the perfect cookie requires skill, patience, and a whole lot of self-control when you've got a mountain of delicious cookie dough sitting right in front of you.
So for all of us that are new to the cookie world, we want you to tell us which tip or trick has taken your own cookies to the next level.
Perhaps you've learned that refrigerating your cookie dough overnight hydrates the flour and prevents the cookies from spreading too much when baking.
Maybe you learned that your oven runs cooler than you thought it did, and adding an oven thermometer has helped you bake your cookies to perfection.
Perhaps you learned the hard way that overmixing your dough for just two minutes too long always resulted in unintentional flat/crispy cookies.
Whatever cookie baking tips or hacks you have, we want to hear them! Tell us about them in the comments below! Or, if you'd prefer to remain fully anonymous, fill out this Google form. Some of the responses will be featured in a BuzzFeed Community post!
