Artists would kill to have just one song in the coveted Top 10 section of iTunes, Taylor currently holds 7 of those spots. Count 'em, SEVEN.

3. Her selling power is immense.

According to Billboard, 1989 is projected to sell well over 900,000 copies in its first week. Possibly one million. If this becomes the case, Swift will become the only artist to have three albums that have sold one million+ in their first week. Red (2012) sold 1.21 million and Speak Now (2010) sold 1.05 million in their first weeks, respectively.

5. Who knew so many celebs loved Taylor?

Taylor's celeb friends came out in full-force to show their support on 1989 release day! From Lorde to Lena Dunham, celebs love Swift's newest work as much as the rest of the world does.

7. She's good and she knows it.

Singles like "Shake It Off" and "Blank Space" show that Taylor doesn't give two shits about what the media or old lovers have to say about her. She knows she's the HBIC.

8. Taylor is NYC's newest Global Welcome Ambassador.

Her new song "Welcome to New York" wasn't just for show, it's actually the anthem used to draw in new crods the ever-growing city. She was brought in by NYC & Company, the city’s official marketing and tourism organization.

9. Shake it off!

Although Taylor has been met with her fair share of criticism (especially her dancing), there is no denying that the public is clearly infatuated with her and her music and they will continue to be so for a long time to come.
