2. Challah Cappella

Love to sing? Have a great voice? Want to show it off? Then you should audition for Oberlin College's only Jewish acapella group Challah Cappella!!! Repertoire includes everything from traditional Jewish melodies, modern Israeli pop tunes, and an array of American songs by Jewish artists. Auditions are held at the beginning of every semester and are open to all Obies, Jewish and non-Jewish alike!

Look no further, J House is calling your name! Sponsored by the Jewish Studies Department, 'Johnson House', fosters a close-knit Jewish focused community and hosts events on topics of Jewish interest. Click here for more information! 4. Oberlin Zionists

Passionate about Israel? Want to advocate for Zionism on campus? Love Israeli food and culture? Then you sound like the newest member of Oberlin Zionists! 5. Kosher Halal Co-op

Tired of traditional eating options? Great cook? Not such a great cook? Can you clean a plate? Do you love being in a unique multi cultural environment? Then you should check out Kosher Halal Co-op! Located in the Talcott dorms, KHC is the only eating co-op in the country that offers both Kosher and Halal options. Members take part in cooking, cleaning and managing the co-op. Interested in social justice in the middle east? Want to advocate for a two state solution? Interested in joining the nationwide J Street movement? Then Oberlin College J Street seems to be your place to start! J Street U is committed to creating an alternate approach to Israel advocacy that embraces open dialogue and constructive activism, and that warrants critical analysis of policies – be they Israeli, Palestinian, American, or other. Past programming has included speakers, music and cultural events, group discussions, and movie screenings. Additionally, J StreetU Oberlin sends student delegations to regional and national J Street U conferences and assemblies. Click here for me information.
