Asian Americans Discuss The Black Lives Matter Movement

"We need to come together and speak out."

The Jubilee Project teamed with NBC for a series called "Voices." They just released a video of Asian Americans discussing their thoughts on Black Lives Matters and why equality is important for all:

When asked what they thought about the Black Lives Matter movement, everyone’s answer was in support to the movement’s mission.

Many people in the video expressed their belief that the movement didn't minimize the injustices other races face, but spread awareness about an issue with one.

Some recognized that a lot of conversations about race are specifically black and white...

...but still found the importance to support movements even if they don't directly identify with it.
