Promising review: "I have owned several pairs of the classic Arizona and when I saw these I knew I wanted to give them a try. If you have had classic Birks you understand how awful it is when they get wet. I’m working seasonally in Alaska this summer and needed something that is OK with the moisture up here. I’ve had these for about a month now and I love them. The EVA foam is actually softer and more comfortable than the cork in my opinion, and they are perfect when wet. They weigh nothing. So lightweight and easy. Plus they have all of the looks of the Birkies you love so much. Half the price too. Can’t beat it!" —Bethany

Promising review: "I admit upfront that I haven't worn any sneaker except Onitsuka Tigers since 1976. Sure, I've tried a few other brands over the years (Puma, Adidas) but I always take them to the garage for my mowing shoes. The reason...I love the fit and style of this product. I have owned about every style Tiger has made over the years and the Mexico 66 is a great shoe: lightweight, thin sole with good tread, low profile, quality design, and long lasting." —JazzMan

Promising review: "All around very nice and stylish. The tread is just as authoritative as it looks in pictures. These are perfect for pairing with pair of pants with wider leg openings. They'd also pair well with sweatpants and joggers if you want to take it in the athleisure direction. I don’t know if you can find something more congruent with high fashion/street wear trends for this low of a price. I was impressed as soon as I saw them and put them on, and continue to be." —Jan V

Promising review: "I LOVE these sandals and have bought them in multiple colors. I was reluctant at first because my feet are very narrow, but a size 7 fit me exactly as my other size 7 shoes do. The buckles are also adjustable for those with narrow or wide feet. They are super comfortable and provide a good amount of arch support. I used to get hip pain from walking in flip flops, but I haven't had it since I've worn these. I really love the variety of colors and how they go with shorts, sundresses, or even jeans. I wear them when I'm gardening, as house slippers, and going out. I would highly recommend these sandals, especially because of how cheap they are compared to many other shoes." —Kat Platt

My colleague Rachel loves these! Here's what she has to say:
"These are great everyday boots that look amazing with basically everything and really ~elevate~ whatever you pair them with. They took a little time to break in around the toe box for me, but it really paid off, as they now fit like a glove...or...like a shoe that just fits really well, I guess. I've had these for probably close to two years, have walked in them *so* much, and they're still in incredible shape. I anticipate getting at least two more years out of them as-is — they don't even seem close to needing to be resoled yet, but I definitely will do so when the time comes. They are definitely an investment, but considering I used to pay about half as much for boots that would poop out after one year, I consider them well worth it. I recommend going up a half size from what you usually wear for the perfect fit."

Check out our review of the Sam Edelman rain booties (#2).
Promising review: "Seattleites try to ignore the rain as much as possible, so much that umbrellas signify that you're a tourist. I moved to the area and wanted to blend in as much as possible, so I gave these a shot. It's only fall (the start of the rainy season) and I wear these at least twice a week. I bought the shiny olive, but I'm probably going to get them in matte black as well. I'm picky when it comes to boots. Most of them make my tiny feet look huge, and stick out way too much. I love the pointed toe (I have sensitive feet, I'm flat-footed and really like Birkenstocks) and these don't cause any issues." —Hey!

Promising review: "I was worried about buying these shoes because I had plantar fasciitis and was recovering by wearing shoes with high arches. These shoes are wonderful!! The padding on the sole is thick and forms around your arch. It's so comfortable to wear and I wear these every day for 10+ hours. I love that they're platforms because I don't even feel the ground as I walk. I would highly recommend buying these if you are in need of comfortable shoes!" —Maddy's Mom

Promising review: "These shoes are absolutely adorable! I got my usual size 6 and they fit perfectly. No room to spare, but not uncomfortably small. Plus the slight cushion at the bottom makes them feel comfortable. These shoes are very feminine and everything I could ask for in a flat shoe. Very happy with this purchase. I can’t wait until spring and summer to rock them with dresses and shorts. I ordered another pair in black and one in multi." —Melanie_and_David

Promising review: "I was very pleasantly surprised by these. They’re great shoes in general, but at this price point they’re exceptional. These have been my go-to everyday shoe since I bought them about six weeks ago and they still look great. They are comfortable to stand in for hours; no issues with pinching or rubbing, and no real breaking-in period. The sole has enough grip to walk over some ice or snow, but it’s not insulated so I wouldn’t recommend it for extended use in the snow." —JB

They have a very nice padding in the sole which makes it comfortable to wear for long periods of time and these shoes definitely fit very true to size. I'm a size 6 and the 36 I purchased fit me perfectly. I love how everything about the boots is sustainable, from the tread to the shoelaces. Promising review: "Let me preface this review by telling you how much I *hate* heels. Strong passionate hatred for them. However, I work for a bank and black pumps are pretty much a banker's uniform. These are the best pair of heels I've ever owned. I wore them all day for three days straight at a conference and my feet never hurt. The cushioning is excellent and my heel does not slip out when I walk. They are high enough to look elegant but not so high that you're teetering. Great purchase, well worth the money." —Celia

Promising review: "These are my go-to sandals. I wear them so often — almost daily. This is the second pair I've gotten in this color. The first pair has lasted over five years. I got a new pair because I'm just not sure how much longer they will last. I wear the sandals with shorts, jeans, dresses, skirts, jumpers, you name it. I live in the South and it's warm most of the year, so these sandals get a ton of use. I have them in dark brown, tan, black, and white. I wear them so much." —Rebecca G.
