Your Exfoliating Body Wash Is Probably Killing Turtles

    A study in Scientific American highlights the environmental hazards of "micro beads." They're a common ingredient in exfoliating scrubs and body washes, but at just a millimeter in diameter, also too small to be filtered by water treatment plants... and so they're ending up in our waterways, where they may be harming wildlife.
