The Obamas Visit Site Of Mandela's Detainment: His Spirit Could Never Be Imprisoned

    The first family took time in their visit to South Africa to visit Robben Island, the site where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned for 18 of the 27 years. It was the President's second trip to the prison but the first to bring his daughters. Obama was unable to visit the ailing anti-apartheid leader due to his poor health.
