Obama To Nominate New FBI Director, Famous For Opposing Electronic Eavesdropping

    The President plans to nominate the former Bush administration official James Comey to be director of the FBI on Friday. Comey's famous for objecting strongly to electronic eavesdropping in 2004, which is likely to be of interest in the wake of recent government surveillance leaks.
