    New Test Could Diagnose Schizophrenia By Taking Cells From Your Nose

    US and Israeli scientists have uncovered a new method for diagnosing schizophrenia, by swabbing cells from the upper nasal cavity -- the closest nerve cells to the brain. By comparing these cells in schizophrenic and non-schizophrenic patients, researchers may have found the first biological test for the disorder.
