    Colombian Farmers Unite In Protest Against Economic Downturn

    Colombian coffee farmers joined together in protest on Monday pleading for government subsidies. The nationwide strike called for more government attention on the economy so their exports can compete internationally. In response, authorities have used teargas and President Juan Manuel Santos has said he isn't afraid to crackdown.
